Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW14
Welcome to Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW14. We are delighted to finally have a breather in the football schedule to at last bring you the Prediction results from gameweeks 11, 12 and 13. It has been a busy few weeks so there is a lot to get through. We have kept you in suspense for weeks so I won’t waste even more time and just cut straight to the point.
There were some brilliant scores in gameweek 11 with a total of 29 participants getting a double digit score. 23 of those got the first goal scorer correct! WOW! Brilliant stuff to you all. With those great scores one person came out on top with a whopping 19 points, Pjlill! Second place was Fran Riku just one behind on 18 points and one further back in third was Chipster on 17.
Gameweek 12 saw the scoring significantly drop with only the top three getting double digit scores and not a single soul getting the FGS correct. That is no surprise as FGS was Nottingham Forest’s Awoniyi getting the honour. Unlike GW11, we had a runaway winner in Gavy on 15 points. Perun and Gear were the nearest challengers on 10 points a piece.
Keeping the downward trend going, gamweek 13 saw ZERO managers get a double digit score with our winner scoring 9 points. For the second week in a row, no one correctly guessed FGS as once again it was Awoniyi as Forest shocked Liverpool in a 1-0 win. This shock is made bigger by the fact Awoniyi is FGS for two weeks running yet Froest have scored just 8 combined PL goals this season. This week was a lot tighter as Elderzadi and Silvers tied for top spot so had to be separated in our tiebreaker. Elderzadi came out on top as he was 17 minutes from the correct time to beat Silvers who was 22 minutes away. Close fight folks, well played Elderzadi. We had another tied in third place with Mahelmy, Jamie Mc and Ko Nay all getting 8 points.
And so; Many Congratulations to Pjlill, Gavy and Elderzadi. Please email us here; contact@fantasyfootball247.co.uk to claim your prize.
Overall Table –
Not only do we have the weekly results but below is the long awaited Overall Table for you all to peruse. MBD is continuing their dominance at the top and pulling away. Will anyone catch up?
THIS WEEK’S COMPETITION… Scoring couldn’t be simpler:
Correct Score = 3 points
Correct result = 1 point
Correct First Goalscorer of the game-week = 5 points
(to clarify this is who you think will score the 1st goal of the entire GW, not just in any game you choose to pick yourself!)
(Points are awarded on an ‘either/or’ basis, so you’ll either score 3 points for a Correct Score or 1 point for a Correct Result, these are never added together for a 4 point score.)
Tie-Breaker In the event that two or more members are tied as winners for the week the overall winner of the t-shirt will be decided by a tie-breaker. In order to do this, we ask that you also post your prediction of the time that the first goal of the week will be scored at. Nearest the pin wins.
The Rules… They are few; 1 entry per person and all entries must be submitted prior to the first game of the game-week. Kick-off this week comes on Friday at 8:00 pm. Once all the games have been played, we’ll count up the scores and the winner(s) will be announced in the following week’s competition article and each week our winner will walk away with an FF247 branded t-shirt! ). So just to recap all you need to do is; – Copy and paste the fixtures from below and pop your score prediction on each. – Tell us who you think will be the first goal scorer of the week (and that can be from any game regardless of your other predictions) – Add in your time of the first goal of the week for any potential tie-breaker situation.
Here are the fixtures, best of luck to you all!
