Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW3
Welcome to Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW3 brought to you by this weeks sponsor – Simmo Logistics LTD*. If you went with 2-0 across the board you would have done well, there were four in total. Other than that, the only notable result was West Ham’s demolition of ten-man Leicester. Man City won 5-0 but even I got that one correct and I’m rubbish at this competition. Thankfully some of you are very good at it. Let’s get to this weeks winner!
After a tense (I like to think it is) tiebreaker that saw Shutto and Izzat Aziz finish with 16pts, Shutto’s FGS prediction was a whole minute closer to the 18th minute FGS than Izzat Aziz. And thus, Shutto is this week’s big winner! Izzat Aziz takes second with third place this week taken by The Padster who finished just behind on 15pts. So close. A special mention also to the seven of you who correctly guessed Diogoal Jota as FGS.
And so; Many Congratulations to Shutto. Please email us here; contact@fantasyfootball247.co.uk to claim your prize.

*A special mention to James Simmo. Turns out James is something of a whizz, and after a successful trial, we have a new system in place to help do the counting. Our usual counting master Matt had this to say: “I think it’s brilliant, it really cuts down on me doing all the counting”. So there you have it. Matt did mention a rebrand, which personally I think is a little OTT. However, I will allow this weeks episode to be sponsored (as seen in the title). If anyone else would like to do stuff for us, or just send us free things we will consider you as a sponsor too!
League table
THIS WEEK’S COMPETITION… Scoring couldn’t be simpler:
Correct Score = 3 points
Correct result = 1 point
Correct First Goalscorer of the game-week = 5 points
(to clarify this is who you think will score the 1st goal of the entire GW, not just in any game you choose to pick yourself!)
(Points are awarded on an ‘either/or’ basis, so you’ll either score 3 points for a Correct Score or 1 point for a Correct Result, these are never added together for a 4 point score.)
Tie-Breaker In the event that two or more members are tied as winners for the week the overall winner of the t-shirt will be decided by a tie-breaker. In order to do this, we ask that you also post your prediction of the time that the first goal of the week will be scored at. Nearest the pin wins.
The Rules… They are few; 1 entry per person and all entries must be submitted prior to the first game of the game-week. Kick-off this week comes on Saturday at 12:30 pm. Once all the games have been played, we’ll count up the scores and the winner(s) will be announced in the following week’s competition article and each week our winner will walk away with an FF247 branded t-shirt! ). So just to recap all you need to do is; – Copy and paste the fixtures from below and pop your score prediction on each. – Tell us who you think will be the first goal scorer of the week (and that can be from any game regardless of your other predictions) – Add in your time of the first goal of the week for any potential tie-breaker situation.
Here are the fixtures, best of luck to you all!

***New Article***
We’re just three weeks in and already I’ve slipped to column two. Man, I’m rubbish at this. Thankfully some of you are rather good, but there can be only one winner. Have a read and you’ll find out who that was.
Big shout out to this weeks sponsors Simmo Logistics LTD. No idea what Matt does now but that’s ok as he’s a swell guy!
Get predicting y’all!
Did you have to repeat that Jota joke twice, as per the now infamous Thomas Muller / Lewangoalski gif?!
I don’t suppose I need / want to know but what is it exactly that James is now doing and Matt isn’t?! If you’ve managed to rouse James into some sort of regular work then you’re a better man than me!
Harry & Lloyd were directly approached by what’s apparently become Simmo Logistics LTD overnight! They have, of course, unwittingly signed a waiver; this business could vanish even faster. You’re still a great man for tempting me to comment again on the site…
Thanks all, even James apparently!
