Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW38

Welcome to Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW38. Well here we are at the final hurdle of yet another marathon season. We saw Arsenal give their North London rivals a run for the title of ‘biggest bottlers’, Newcastle return to the big time of Champions League football and Southampton live up to their name by going south into the Championship.

This weekend sees pretty much everything sorted with Top 4 looking unlikely to change unless Liverpool pull out a miracle, City have already won the title and so the only thing that needs to be settled is who will drop with the Saints? Will it be Everton, Leeds or Leicester?

Now we don’t have the results for GW37 just yet but here are the results for GW36. A fiercely contested battle with only 4 points separating 1st and 19th! 16th to 19th got a brilliant 10pts, 9th to 15th got 11pts, 4th to 8th got 12pts, 3rd on their own, Ko Nay, got 13 points and tied for 1st were Tekno-Kun and MBD on 14 pts but the winner this week was Tekno. His 13 minute prediction was the closer of the tiebreakers.

And so; Many Congratulations to Tekno. Please email us here; contact@fantasyfootball247.co.uk to claim your prize.

League Table

Here in the H&L towers, we still have a title race on our hands so don’t take the foot off the pedal!

THIS WEEK’S COMPETITION… Scoring couldn’t be simpler:
Correct Score = 3 points
Correct result = 1 point
Correct First Goalscorer of the game-week = 5 points

(to clarify this is who you think will score the 1st goal of the entire GW, not just in any game you choose to pick yourself!)

(Points are awarded on an ‘either/or’ basis, so you’ll either score 3 points for a Correct Score or 1 point for a Correct Result, these are never added together for a 4 point score.)

Tie-Breaker In the event that two or more members are tied as winners for the week the overall winner of the t-shirt will be decided by a tie-breaker. In order to do this, we ask that you also post your prediction of the time that the first goal of the week will be scored at. Nearest the pin wins.

The Rules… They are few; 1 entry per person and all entries must be submitted prior to the first game of the game-week. Kick-off this week comes on Friday at 8:00 pm. Once all the games have been played, we’ll count up the scores and the winner(s) will be announced in the following week’s competition article and each week our winner will walk away with an FF247 branded t-shirt! ). So just to recap all you need to do is; – Copy and paste the fixtures from below and pop your score prediction on each. – Tell us who you think will be the first goal scorer of the week (and that can be from any game regardless of your other predictions) – Add in your time of the first goal of the week for any potential tie-breaker situation.

Here are the fixtures, best of luck to you all!

BTW, at least one of my big predictions came true – in that I think I’ve finished around 32nd or 33rd in Harry & Lloyds’ for the past couple of years (I think….but then again, memory is a strange old thing!), and I thought at some stage (when I was above 32nd spot!) that things would fall back into their natural order and I would be in 32nd or 33rd place again. Lo and behold, I wake up this morning and check a ‘Captain Cook’ at the results, and….the rest is history! Have a great lead up to Sunday my friends! Many tergiversations and hesitation to be had between now and then!!!! smile
