Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW6

Welcome to Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW6
Last week Matt highlighted the number of goals scored (41) in a high-scoring game week. By contrast, GW5 was the lowest-scoring week of the season thus far with just 24 goals scored. Strangely it only produced 5 clean sheets but it was a good week for those of you who like to be a little more reserved with your predictions.

And so it is that we find a jam-packed podium with no less than 17 of you making it into the top three. Budge up we’re going to need to create a little more room! In third place with 11pts we have chins, Garra_13, Gear, RafflesHotspur, turbo, Shrivathsa.

A similar story in second place with 12pts we have inittowinit, Nyk, The Padster, Sarri-ball, SherLock.

Further up it was no less spacious with another huddle of bodies all vying for the top spot with 13pts. 6 of you got the points: SomH3i, Daisy2002, GoalMachine, IvanTheTerrible, Botman and Robben, which took us to a tie-breaker, and even that was tight. In the end, SomH3i pushed out the competition with their FGS prediction just 8 minutes out from the actual, so close for Daisy2002 who went with 10.

Many congratulations to SomH3i. Please email us here: contact@fantasyfootball247.co.uk to claim your prize.

Overall League Table

THIS WEEK’S COMPETITION… scoring couldn’t be much simpler:

• Correct Score —> 3 points;
• Correct Result —> 1 point; and
• Correct First Goalscorer of the Gameweek —> 5 points.

To clarify, this is who you think will score the first goal of the entire Gameweek, not just in any given match that you choose to pick yourself!

Points above are awarded on an ‘either/or’ basis, so you’ll either score 3 points for a Correct Score or just 1 point for a Correct Result, and these are never added together for a 4-point score.

Tie-Breaker: in the event of 2+ entrants being tied as winners for the Gameweek, the overall winner of the t-shirt will be decided by a tie-breaker. In order to do this, we ask that you also post your prediction for the time at which the first goal of the Gameweek will be scored. Nearest the pin wins!

The Rules… they are few: 1 entry per person and all entries must be submitted prior to the first match of the Gameweek. Kick-off this week comes on Saturday at 15:00. Once all the matches have been played, we’ll calculate the scores, and the winner(s) will be announced in the following Gameweek’s competition article: each winner will walk away with an FF247-branded t-shirt.

So, to recap, all that you need to do to play is:

• copy & paste the fixtures from below and pop your score prediction on each;
• tell us who you think will be the First Goalscorer of the Gameweek; and
• follow it with your guess for the time of this first goal (to give yourself a fighting chance in a tie-breaker situation).

Here are the fixtures; best of luck to you all!

GW6 Deadline is: Saturday at 3pm

Palace v Fulham
Luton v Wolves
Man City v Forest
Brentford v Everton
Burnley v Man Utd
Arsenal v Spurs
Brighton v Bournemouth
Chelsea v Villa
Liverpool v West Ham
Sheffield v Newcastle

PLEASE also provide your FGS guess (and the minute of this first goal straight after the player’s name).
