Welcome to Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW7. Last weekend didn’t really see any shocks and most teams followed the status quo. Wins for Liverpool, Man United and Man City aren’t out of the ordinary. Luton grabbing a 1-1 draw vs Wolves was good for them. An exciting draw in the NLD saw 4 goals spread between Arsenal and Spurs. Chelsea continued their poor form by losing once again to Villa.

With fixtures going as most people would have guessed we saw 19 managers get double digit hauls. A two-way tie for 3rd and a two-way tie for 1st place this week saw things being very close. In fact this week’s winner was only 1 minute out from the FGS time.

In 3rd place were Booty01 and RafflesHotspur on 14 points. Tied for 1st place on 15 points was Botman and Robben versus Leprechaun. It was extremely close with B&R 4 minutes away from correct time but Leprechaun was only 1 minute out so the luck of the Irish was what won it this week.

THIS WEEK’S COMPETITION… scoring couldn’t be much simpler:

• Correct Score —> 3 points;
• Correct Result —> 1 point; and
• Correct First Goalscorer of the Gameweek —> 5 points.

To clarify, this is who you think will score the first goal of the entire Gameweek, not just in any given match that you choose to pick yourself!

Points above are awarded on an ‘either / or’ basis, so you’ll either score 3 points for a Correct Score or just 1 point for a Correct Result, and these are never added together for a 4-point score.

Tie-Breaker: in the event of 2+ entrants being tied as winners for the Gameweek, the overall winner of the t-shirt will be decided by a tie-breaker. In order to do this, we ask that you also post your prediction for the time at which the first goal of the Gameweek will be scored. Nearest the pin wins!

The Rules… they are few: 1 entry per person and all entries must be submitted prior to the first match of the Gameweek. Kick-off this week comes on Friday at 19:45. Once all the matches have been played, we’ll calculate the scores, and the winner(s) will be announced in the following Gameweek’s competition article: each winner will walk away with an FF247-branded t-shirt.

• tell us who you think will be the First Goalscorer of the Gameweek; and
• follow it with your guess for the time of this first goal (to give yourself a fighting chance in a tie-breaker situation).
