Harry and Lloyd’s Predictions GW11
Welcome to Harry and Lloyd’s Predictions GW11. It was a tough weekend for a multitude of reasons. I’ll first off echo the thoughts of Swirly in his fixtures article in relation to the events at Leicester City at the weekend. It puts things into perspective, a reminder that some things are more important than the moans and groans we’re all guilty of week to week.
There were no major surprise results in GW10, even Cardiff scoring at Anfield was no real surprise given that Alberto Moreno was restored to the starting 11. Expected defeats for Huddersfield, Fulham and Burnley another 0-0 for my lot down at St Mary’s, even the 2-2 draw between Crystal Palace and Arsenal seemed perfectly predictable, at least in hindsight. The winner this week was Mahelmy with 17pts, 2nd place went to Giggy on 16pts, 3rd place was Eresh, Smash and yours truly (Rosco) with 14pts.
Congrats to Mahelmy on his win, please email us at contact@fantasyfootball247.co.uk to claim your prize.
Scoring couldn’t be simpler:
Correct Score = 3 points
Correct result = 1 point
Correct First Goal scorer of the game-week = 5pts
(Points are awarded on an ‘either or’ basis, so you’ll either score 3 points for a Correct Score or 1 point for a Correct Result, these are never added together for a 4 point score.)
Tie-Breaker
In the event that two or more members are tied as winners for the week the overall winner of the t-shirt will be decided by a tie-breaker.
In order to do this we ask that you also post your prediction of the time that the first goal of the week will be scored at. Nearest the pin wins.
The Rules…
They are few; 1 entry per person, and all entries must be submitted prior to the first game of the game-week. Kick-off this week comes on Saturday at 12:30. Once all the games have been played, we’ll count up the scores and the winner(s) will be announced in the following weeks competition article and each week our winner will walk away with a FF247 branded t-shirt! We also have an overall league table which we’ll update on a monthly basis (next update in our GW11 article).
So just to recap all you need to do is;
– Copy and paste the fixtures from below and pop your score prediction on each.
– Tell us who you think will be the first goal scorer of the week (and that can be from any game regardless of your other predictions)
– Add in your time of the first goal of the week for any potential tie-breaker situation.
Here are the fixtures, best of luck to you all!

Init/Rosco, looking at the table, are they all regulars? I know GM for years, but some of the others???
Yep, there’s not a single one on there I don’t recognise. I’d say there’s roughly 15 on that table who come on and purely post predictions and don’t get involved in the general day to day chit chat but that’s their prerogative I suppose. All the rest do, some more than others, of course. Ultimately though if they’ve got a score on the door it’s because they’ve entered it at some point, number 75 there Derrejj is a prime example – he only entered 2 weeks ago for the first time having seen it on twitter and he DM’d us asking how to enter, he did and hence he’s now up there even though that was his first and only ever comment on the site when he did so.
Horses for courses I suppose, on First I’d delete those that didn’t participate, I guess you’re more tolerant than me
That’d be like The Times telling the crossword winner he couldn’t have his prize because he didn’t write in with letters regularly
Man alive Zorro you’re brutal!! haha, it would be easier to delete them as that table is getting bigger by the week!! We don’t roll like that though, all are welcome for the duration or just a fleeting visit!!
We used to have pages of banter though, because it was just ‘us’ was my meaning. Our record was 15 pages at 12 threads a page…
@secretnobbo stop worrying about who’s participating and concentrate on your predictions #24th.
lmao
A question on the FGS points of last week. I know some have predicted Salah 11th minute, Pereyra also scored in the 11th minute, I do not have the exact second in which it was scored, for what it is worth, Pereyra’s goal was flashed first by FPL. Are we awarding points for those who predicted Salah or for those who predicted Pereyra?
They decided to award it for both. I’m guessing given your query that you didn’t get awarded yours?
Ah, okay, no init, I never have any luck with FGS. I remember reading someone asked that as a question during the Gameweek, so, just thought I will check with the powers that be at FF247.
You should have an extra 5 points in that case. I’m sure Matt will add it back in on the grand totals.
