Welcome to Harry and Lloyd’s Predictions GW17. Last time around I had a good old moan about my FPL game-week, things have not improved, if anything they’re worse. However, this competition shall from here on in become a haven from all things FPL. When your game-week gets you down head over here, we promise there shall be no mention of hits, captain fails, differentials, clean-sheets or any other words that have become part of our daily lexicon. We covered both GW15 and GW16 last week. GW15 was memorable in that there were no clean sheets and not a lot else. GW16 was memorable as it brought Man City’s first defeat, clean sheets were back on the menu (7) and the attacking Liverpool of 2017/18 season turned up to score four and take top spot in the league, much to the joy of the many Liverpool fans on-site. Speaking of Liverpool fans, it was our very own Kop who took top spot in GW15 with a mighty 17pts. The second spot was a tie between PM and Sky Blue Stan who both claimed an almost impressive 16pts. In GW16 it was the turn of the blue half of the city; Skybluetoffee blowing Kop’s previous best of 17pts out the water with a whopping score of 19pts. Kudos. The second spot was taken by Kushan Samaratne (17pts), with our favourite Frenchman Frenchie taking third with 15pts.

THIS WEEK’S COMPETITION…
Scoring couldn’t be simpler: Correct Score = 3 points Correct result = 1 point Correct First Goalscorer of the game-week = 5pts (Points are awarded on an ‘either or’ basis, so you’ll either score 3 points for a Correct Score or 1 point for a Correct Result, these are never added together for a 4 point score.) Tie-Breaker In the event that two or more members are tied as winners for the week the overall winner of the t-shirt will be decided by a tie-breaker. In order to do this, we ask that you also post your prediction of the time that the first goal of the week will be scored at. Nearest the pin wins.
The Rules
They are few; 1 entry per person and all entries must be submitted prior to the first game of the game-week. Kick-off this week comes on Saturday at 12:30. Once all the games have been played, we’ll count up the scores and the winner(s) will be announced in the following week’s competition article and each week our winner will walk away with an FF247 branded t-shirt! We also have an overall league table which we’ll update on a monthly basis (next update in our GW17 article). So just to recap all you need to do is; – Copy and paste the fixtures from below and pop your score prediction on each. – Tell us who you think will be the first goal scorer of the week (and that can be from any game regardless of your other predictions) – Add in your time of the first goal of the week for any potential tie-breaker situation.

Management reserve the right to review membership of this league on an ongoing basis. If you enter and win a prize you have to have commented on the site at least 5 times for 8 consecutive months between August 2018 and March 2019 or you will not be considered for a prize.
