Hello and welcome back to what will be the first of some mammoth result articles for the H&L tower crew. We haven’t provided you with results for quite some time and actually we shocked ourselves with how long it had been.

We do have SOME results for you this week but unfortunately not all of them. Let me explain as to why. Our site scraping software that Simmo created to speed up the result counting had to be rewritten. Simmo worked long hours to rewrite it all and was knackered. We don’t want to be charged for any slave labour laws so we let him rest.

We do have results from GW12-16 so 5 weeks worth of results for you all finally! Let’s get straight to it. No fluff just pure podium places now.

GW12 –
1st place = Ivan the Terrible on 15 points
2nd place = Terminators on 15 points
3rd place = Eggwich on 12 points

Ivan wins as he was 3 minutes closer to the correct FGS minute.

GW13 –
1st place = Nathc168 on 13 points
2nd place = Eplnoob on 13 points
3rd place = Kruzcampo on 11 points

Nathc168 wins as they were 1 minute closer to the correct FGS minute! TIGHT!!

GW14 –
1st place = Terminators on 15 points
2nd place = Redmecca on 15 points
3rd place = Goldilocks on 14 points

Terminators wins as they were 2 minutes closer to the correct FGS minute! WHAT IS HAPPENING?!

GW15 –
1st place = OddDane on 11 points
2nd place = Goldilocks on 10 points
3rd place = A host of managers on 9 points

OddDane wins! We finally didn’t need our tiebreaker!

GW16 –
1st place = Kruzcampo on 16 points
2nd place = Shinespark on 14 points
3rd place = A few managers on 13 points.

Kruzcampo wins! Another clean winner.

Overall League Table

This is how the table looks up to GW16 so there will still be some movement in the next set of results!

THIS WEEK’S COMPETITION… scoring couldn’t be much simpler:

• Correct Score —> 3 points;
• Correct Result —> 1 point; and
• Correct First Goalscorer of the Gameweek —> 5 points.

To clarify, this is who you think will score the first goal of the entire Gameweek, not just in any given match that you choose to pick yourself!

Points above are awarded on an ‘either / or’ basis, so you’ll either score 3 points for a Correct Score or just 1 point for a Correct Result, and these are never added together for a 4-point score.

Tie-Breaker: in the event of 2+ entrants being tied as winners for the Gameweek, the overall winner of the weekly prize will be decided by a tie-breaker. In order to do this, we ask that you also post your prediction for the time at which the first goal of the Gameweek will be scored. Nearest the pin wins!

The Rules… 1 entry per person and all entries must be submitted prior to the first match of the Gameweek. Once all the matches have been played, we’ll calculate the scores, and the winner(s) will be announced in the following Gameweek’s competition article: each winner will walk away with an FF247-branded prize..

• copy & paste the fixtures from below and pop your score prediction on each;
• tell us who you think will be the First Goalscorer of the Gameweek; and
• follow it with your guess for the time of this first goal (to give yourself a fighting chance in a tie-breaker situation).
