Welcome to Harry and Lloyd’s Predictions GW36.

Like London buses, they are never there on time and then they all come at once! We are back with a triple whammy of results for you all. We left you in suspense for the last few weeks due to a mix of quick turnarounds, technical faults and just all-round busy lives!

You will be eager to know have you won a coveted FF247 pen so I won’t ramble. The first set of results is way back in GW33, where we actually had a very high scoring week. 12 managers getting into the double digits and 4 of the top 5 getting the FGS correct. However, there were three clear people on the podium with Inittowinnit in 3rd on 13 points, 2nd place was Pjlill on 15 points but on top of the pile was GoalMachine on a whopping 19 points!

Points galore in the H&L towers with another week in GW34 where this time 14 managers got double digit scores and once more our winner finished on 19 points. Our three podium spots all were ahead of the rest due to getting the FGS correct. In 3rd place on 14 points was Kruzcampo, just ahead on 15 points in 2nd place was WhoIsRonaldo but storming ahead with a nice gap was The Padster with the aforementioned 19 points.

For our final set of results, the points did drop but people have been nailing the FGS as our top four all got it correct. In fact, 2nd place was a three way tie with PM, Eggwich and Shinespark all finishing on 11 points. Pipping them all to the top spot though by a single point on 12 was JamieMc! Close one!

Overall League Table

THIS WEEK’S COMPETITION… scoring couldn’t be much simpler:

• Correct Score —> 3 points;
• Correct Result —> 1 point; and
• Correct First Goalscorer of the Gameweek —> 5 points.

To clarify, this is who you think will score the first goal of the entire Gameweek, not just in any given match that you choose to pick yourself!

Points above are awarded on an ‘either / or’ basis, so you’ll either score 3 points for a Correct Score or just 1 point for a Correct Result, and these are never added together for a 4-point score.

Tie-Breaker: in the event of 2+ entrants being tied as winners for the Gameweek, the overall winner of the weekly prize will be decided by a tie-breaker. In order to do this, we ask that you also post your prediction for the time at which the first goal of the Gameweek will be scored. Nearest the pin wins!

The Rules… 1 entry per person and all entries must be submitted prior to the first match of the Gameweek. Once all the matches have been played, we’ll calculate the scores, and the winner(s) will be announced in the following Gameweek’s competition article: each winner will walk away with an FF247-branded prize..

• tell us who you think will be the First Goalscorer of the Gameweek; and
• follow it with your guess for the time of this first goal (to give yourself a fighting chance in a tie-breaker situation).
