I love Peps reaction when Defoe scored, welcome to the premier league, haha
luke, on that note Jermain looks a gem at 7.0, if Moyes can give sunderland some consistency. He looked very sharp and clinical on that finishing.
okay someone really needs to tell me whether i should stick to firmino or get in coutinho/mane instead.
i want just one player for liverpool’s attack and firmino was quite honestly very disappointing today. but will he come good and i should hold on to the precious transfer for some other part of my team?
Stick with Firmino
+1
Yeah I’d stick for now, one game isn’t a great indicator when looking at sideways moves.
i started with firmino, not sure why i didn’t consider Coutinho at 0.5m cheaper, especially as a went with Schmeichel as GK but really wanted Courtois. My transfer finger is getting itchy.
Evening all. I hate not having any Monday players, just a guaranteed drop in the rankings..
I normally wouldn’t make a move like this after 1 GW but thoughts on transferring Gray -> Negredo instead of holding a transfer? I see Gray blanking in the next 2 GW’s against Liverpool and Chelsea, which will result in a large price drop, whilst Negredo plays Sunderland and West Brom in the next 2 games which I can see him scoring in. Any goals or assists this week will lead to a large price rise IMO and I am thinking of getting Negredo for the next couple of weeks given his fixtures. Thoughts?? Or is it to early to get rid of Gray?
Nosaj I’m thinking along the same lines. While 1 GW is not enough at all to give an indication as to how well a player will do over the next few, there’s no harm in changing him now for someone else if you see them doing better, IF you have no other pressing transfers to make. Always good to get ahead of the early season price changes too.
Just bear in mind Negredo is far from guaranteed to do well in the coming 2 games just because he scored in the last one.
If Carroll does well tonight he may be an option?
Gray looked pretty lively. Liverpool will always concede goals and its early days
Smash – I saw a bit of the game on MOTD and he did look like lively, I’m going to stick with him until at least GW3
So it looks like Coutinho could be the first price change of the season tonight!
Damn trigger-happy managers!
First week is really bad coz a 0.1 rise or drop can really affect you. Plus as transfer window is still open moves can still happen which affects if a player is going to play or not
Didn’t he come off injured? Any news on that? Or was Klopp just putting him back in his poke ball?
Which team do you guys think? I missed gameweek 1 due to servers but hopefully can make it up
DePay
I see you have Swansea defensive in each – I would advise that you check their fixtures after next week. They go south, at least on paper, very sharply.
Do you intend to play 3-5-2 usually with Diomande being sub usually?
Swansea without Williams on form were woeful at the back last season.
I cant see it any better this season Naughton->Wolls/Love/Friend
I dont see many teams worse going forward than Swansea either so Heaton->Foster
Palace wont score unless they buy a striker, & Fer goal was a one off, so Id go team 1.
