Welcome to Live Match Chat Gameweek 10 FPL News: Our game-week starts at 3pm on Saturday afternoon. It’s like the good old days. Well it’s not really as there’s only 4 games at 3pm. First up is 3 points for Bournemouth as they welcome the hapless David Moyes and his bunch of not so merry men from Sunderland. Crystal Palace travel to face Tom Heaton Burnley. Having beaten Barcelona on Tuesday night City will be confident of taking 3 points as they host Middlesbrough. West Ham host an ever improving Stoke side. Let’s hope that Andy Carroll is ok following Wednesday’s incident when he was held at gunpoint. Rumour has it the incident was carried out by the same gang who stole Shergar! Saturday concludes at 5:30pm when Everton travel to face a Chelsea side who have won 4 on the bounce.
Sunday kicks off at midday with the North London derby as Spurs make the short trip to the Emirates. Expect a feisty encounter as Spurs will be keen not to lose further ground to their nearest & dearest. Sunday also sees Hull host Southampton, free scoring Liverpool host Watford, United travel to Wales to face Swansea, while our game-week concludes as Leicester host West Brom.

Big thanks to Cookie and Pancho for advice yesterday, I had Defoe on the bench and Bolasie in :stupid:
Thankfully I listened to the advice and swapped them about 20 minutes before deadline.
I know it is highly risky as it is IB but I went early for Hazard ( Bolasie out) and got rid of Ibra (Vokes in) in the process. Super risky I know but I would be very surprised if Hazard is not 10.2 by next week. Did not want to miss. Now I wait.

Good luck with Hazard, you’ve done the right thing in my opinion – the bloke is on top of his game and you’ve got him for less than 10mln. Long term you will be glad. I got him tonight also.
Yep, scoring in every of his last four games againts people like Leicester, Manutd, Southampton and Everton make him a must have imo. Of course I wasn’t that confident when I got him last night. I actually thought odds were not in my favour giving that he had already scored in his last 3, but then I took a look at his previous seasons’ stats and we forget that he had 2 consecutive seasons on 14 goals! At the light of today’s game, he’ll probably surpass that.
If you dont need a hit to get him in, I’d do it tonight. If you do, than maybe bite the bullet and wait for the IB to end.
Could do sterling to hazard. Lallana to gundogen. For a -4. This worth it?

I get people moving if a price rise tonight means the moves become unobtainable but if you can afford to wait, then wait. If Hazard comes back from Belgium injured then all hell will break loose.

Guys just did the following: lallana to hazard, vertonghen to alonso and lukaku to austin for -8. I know I wouldn’t be able to wait til after the IB. I hope I dont regret it.

Alreet lads, seems like Chelsea are in pretty good form so maybe time to max out on them, ey? I already have Costa, but I want 1 defender and Hazard and/or Pedro. It seems impossible for me to get both Hazard & Costa without weakening my team as a whole, so I have some options for you to tell me which you prefer:
A: Alonso, Hazard, Pedro, Vokes
B: Alonso, Pedro, <7m mid, Costa
C: Pieters, Allen, Hazard, Costa
In A I sell Costa to Vokes to get Hazard, in B I get Pedro instead of Hazard to keep Costa, in C I sacrifice my team to get both Hazard and Costa. I prefer A myself, as it seems the strongest overall.

I would hold Costa as you have him and work around that. How about Alonso and Matic?
I see your conundrum there Tekno. You just got KDB in and you don’t want to lose Coutinho or Aguero. Difficult to get Haz in for Wally without several hits with only 0.8 itb.
Costa is in great form too though and is owned by 40% so that and the fact that KDB makes it a simple no hit swap and is owned only by 11% would make me slightly favor selling him for Haz and reassess later how to get KDB in again…Don’t get me wrong, I think KDB is class, but if you really want Haz something’s gotta give and that seems the sensible move, for me.

DMC, I thought about KDB vs Costa, and to be honest, I’d rather sell Costa than KDB. Maybe I’m biased by being a City fan, but I think KDB is by far the most important player in the City team and that his output will both be consistent and explosive.
GP, I’m not happy with not getting Hazard. However, your suggestion gave me a new idea: Matic, Hazard, and Costa! It means that I can’t get Chelsea defense, but maybe it’s worth it? Still, I find it hard to justify in my sensible, boring mind to ignore Pedro considering that his output is similar to Hazard & Costa yet he is still million cheaper. Luckily I have two weeks to think about this.
Telmo – KDB ahead of Costa any day of the week for me too buddy. How about Coutinho + Wally Haz + 7-ish mid?
Where is KDB playing ? If he’s off the wing he won’t be as productive. Ain’t they been playing Silva, Gundogan and Fernandinho in the middle
Evening everyone!
So, without having any Chelsea players I’ve dropped about 80,000 places (though, admittedly, I’ve got a good load of players featuring tomorrow). I’ve currently got both Mané and Coutinho, with Walker in defence. Is it worth doing Mané and Walker out for Hazard and Danny Simpson for a -4? Would leave me with the team below and would need to do it tonight before Hazard’s price goes up.

So frustrating. I’m 0.1 off Sanchez and Wally to KdB and Haz!! Waiting till Saturday morning to finalise my changes has really cost me this week
Prob best to wait till everyone has played any have a rethink on this one…

Arsenal have Bournemouth at home soon and, as good as KDB is, you could still get someone decent for less.
Good point swirly, I’m going to wait now anyway. Sanchez will most likely be the one to go as it wouldn’t involve any additional hits.
Thanks for the ‘comfort’ GP, but there is good form and then Haz good form. For me he is a must and only Aguero is safe from the chop for him. Need to start planning and the above transfers would have been worth an early move.
