Welcome to Live Match Chat Gameweek 10 FPL News: Our game-week starts at 3pm on Saturday afternoon. It’s like the good old days. Well it’s not really as there’s only 4 games at 3pm. First up is 3 points for Bournemouth as they welcome the hapless David Moyes and his bunch of not so merry men from Sunderland. Crystal Palace travel to face Tom Heaton Burnley. Having beaten Barcelona on Tuesday night City will be confident of taking 3 points as they host Middlesbrough. West Ham host an ever improving Stoke side. Let’s hope that Andy Carroll is ok following Wednesday’s incident when he was held at gunpoint. Rumour has it the incident was carried out by the same gang who stole Shergar! Saturday concludes at 5:30pm when Everton travel to face a Chelsea side who have won 4 on the bounce.
Sunday kicks off at midday with the North London derby as Spurs make the short trip to the Emirates. Expect a feisty encounter as Spurs will be keen not to lose further ground to their nearest & dearest. Sunday also sees Hull host Southampton, free scoring Liverpool host Watford, United travel to Wales to face Swansea, while our game-week concludes as Leicester host West Brom.

    Evening everyone

At a bonfire display bit I hear Chelsea are doing alright again! :winktongue:

I brought in Alonso this week for a hit. Nice when one eventually pays off.

    How are the BPS looking?

Hey guys. I’m kicking myself. Was going to get alonso for vertongen earlier today but didn’t want to take a hit for a defender. Very tempted to do it now. Should I do it before he goes up?

      Lol Luke laugh

You may just have inadvertently captained the best player though, looking on the bright side. Seems to be the theme of the week, hope that luck rides with you.

I know thats the only plus side that Coutinho is my vice, and im hoping Capoue actually does something this week, a Liverpool v Watford thriller would suit me laugh
My team is a proper mess, no idea how to ever get Kun back in

        • inittowinit says:

Just looking now mate and it’d have to be Lukaku to him along with Son down to a cheapie. It’s not out of reach by any means and it’s hardly an exciting move given his ownership and the fact that it’s just a defensive move but delaying it longer will simply mean your overall rank ebbing away every week.

        • lukealike says:

Yea I was thinking similar, and now Hazard is on the horizon. Just to make things even more complicated laugh

        • inittowinit says:

You can’t have everyone. I’m yet to see a team with all of Kun, Sanchez, Costa, Hazard, Coutinho, KDB and Lukaku / Firmino. Not even sure it’s possible. Point is though, non Hazard owners will be looking at all possible scenarios to get him now including selling some of the above and even Sanchez. That may look very different tomorrow night. The danger is if say Sanchez blanks due to a particularly difficult fixture and that then catapults Hazard even further but it’s just on the back of last weeks score really. Sometimes you just have to pick one and accept that the other will kick you in the nuts occasionally. Bit like get married I suppose laugh

        • DMC says:

Ehehe love the marriage comparison there init.
I agree with you, we can’t have it all. I’m compromising the non-Kun situation with Sanchez, KDB, Mane and Hazard for the moment. No Kun may do me bad in the long run but for now it hasn’t really, so I’m going to keep it going and reassess when the next WC is available. Strong mid priced mids that enable Kun are fading away a bit and this week may be the proof for that if people like Capoue, Fer, Redmond who are working as 4th and even 3rd mids in several teams (alongside with Allen and Chadli who did nothing or are out) don’t perform tomorrow.

        • DMC says:

Some hard core stuff you got going there cookie smile

      • inittowinit says:

Last time that all happened twins popped out
