Welcome to Live Match Chat Gameweek 12 FPL News: A two week gap in FPL can seem like an eternity, especially when you have to watch the international games knowing that you’re precious assets are literally risking injury at every turn. Thankfully it’s now over and we can return to normality this weekend. All the worry over whether Sanchez / Hazard / Costa / ‘insert your player name here’ is either fit / injured / on a plane / missed a plane / drunk / ‘insert daft rich player behaviour here’, is almost over. This is a rare PL weekend as we have a grand total of 8 games on Saturday. GW12 itself begins on Saturday lunchtime as Manchester United host Arsenal and runs all the way through to Monday evening when the excitement will surely reach a crescendo with West Brom hosting Burnley. You can almost taste the sarcasm in that one. In between those the title race hots up as new leaders Liverpool visit Southampton at the same time that most peoples early favourites Man City hit the road to visit Lord Pardew of Palace. Elsewhere Lukaku will be a much captained hero or zero, as he always is, as Everton entertain Swansea before Spurs and West Ham bring Saturday to a close with a London derby. After an unusually busy first day, Sunday will feel a bit sparse with just the one game, which sees the Chelsea juggernaut travel north and it’ll probably plough straight on through Middlesbrough without stopping before returning back down south with 3 points and another handful of goals and FPL points in its back pocket. Cherish it though, as then there’s Monday…

How nailed on is Carl Jenkinson going to be for Arsenal in Bellerin’s absence? Arsenal have four relatively good fixtures coming up.
I think he’s fairly nailed on due to a lack of alternatives.
Wenger said it was between Jenkinson and Gabriel for the Utd game y’day, but be aware Debuchy made his comeback for the U23s on Friday so he may come into the equation.
I guess what y’day told us is that Jenkinson is preferred to Gabriel at least.
Any one of Debuchy/Gabriel/Jenkinson could be great value as they are all 5m and under.
Trying to work out the next step. 1FT, 0.1m in the bank. Llalana and Bellerin are red-flagged and will lose value. Here’s my thinking.
A: Bellerin for Mustafi/Jenkinson and transfer Llallana out next week.
B: Bellerin for Chelsea Defender (despite playing City and Spurs in next two GW’s)
C: Bellerin/Llalana for Jenkinson/Soares and Firminho (and captain Firminho v Sunderland)
D: Another suggestion
I like C. Arsenal CS should pay for the hit and adding Firmino really makes sense.
Only 2 people in the current top 10 players in the world in Fpl have Aguero…….they all have Costa…..!!

5 have Hazard…only 1 has Sanchez !!
That’s how the cookie crumbles sometimes, landing on both 6 weeks ago would have been wise with hindsight but also somewhat odd and lucky given their form at that point was sketchy at best.
I had them both and removed them to accommodate Aguero…..which seemed right at the time….kudos to those that stuck with either of them as we wrote Chelsea off.

Thanks Nish! Not really considering the hit, just dreaming. I’d probably have to downgrade Alonso to get Costa. Might be worth it but makes the defense ridiculously weak :/
Apart from Chelsea no one is giving cs not even close to being consistent and Costa has been terrific so would downgrade him and get Smith? for his attacking potential

Overall average for GW 12 went up 9 points. IMO That shows that Chelsea players are must have . I only have Hazard but will definitely consider adding 1 or 2 from week 15.
On the other side how long will this continue? 6 clean sheets in a row is very impressive especially this year, and especially after they looked not so great vs. Liverpool and Arsenal.
I just welcomed Courtois to the bunnies team. Must have CHE defence.
