But now its time to look forward to tonight’s nine other games, which offer huge potential to move higher in your leagues, or alternatively slide lower!
So, the team sheets are about to be revealed, with that dreaded word we all hate, namely “rotation”, ringing in our ears and causing untold stress and worry.
Who will Wenger rest? Will RvP be fit to face Everton? What surprises has the Special One got in store? Will Dzeko get the chance to break West Brom hearts again?

    Should i replace Rooney with lukaku( has Nice fixtures other than Arsenal) and upgrade somewhere else or simply just rest Rooney for next gameweek? I have suarez and aguero as my other two strikers

        • Gooner – Rooney been on form. Leave him on bench.

          Good mid – don’t like Amalfitano. Perhaps a cheap Villa mid (Delph generally plays and is 4.3)

          You now have I guess 0.8. You could strengthen the defence or mid.

    • Evertons fixtures 16 onwards certainly look good and you are right you could use that to upgrade a bit elsewhere. There will be a lot looking at a similar dilema this weekend now. Myself included.

    • I would trade him out and look at trade him back in next week. That is what the FT are for. Too much to lose not having your strongest team on field

      • Trade Rooney to lukaku.

        Then make a judgement call next week depending on lukaku form, rvp playing, etc…

      • God it is a difficult choice. I just have this gut feeling about lukaku, but then again Rooney is insane, but he will fall intro a more defensive when rvp returns. Hmm…

        • But Its a pretty stupid transfer to do if im going to switch back next week, (since lukakus match is against Arsenal away) isn’t it?

  2. Does anyone know why Vlaar came off after 45 minutes? I had to head into work to meet my manager and I could only pop on my phone briefly for score updates. Did he pick up a knock?

    • RedVT, fella from Birmingham Post on twitter said he went off with a calf injury, not sure how bad it is though.

    • Transferring Fonte is probably your best bet, who are you looking at? West Brom or Man U defense maybe?

      • Poorly managed – I have 0.8M in bank. Was half thinking Coleman or Jag – next fixture is tough but looking at longer play

        • just not sure I want to spend that extra 0.8 in defence

        • Coleman would be not bad, looks like he still might rise, a good long term defender and Everton’s defense looks solid. Distin is a good option if you want to upgrade Kasami at some point if Brady doesn’t round out into form soon enough

    • What about Brady – 3 points from 3 games isn’t too good.

      • redmecca – he has been poor/half injured. Been playing Kasami over him as had a few home games. He has done nothing. Guess not sure what 5M ish midfielder is doing well consistently (perhaps Morrison of West Ham)

    • Fonte out and Distin or Coleman in? Everton has some nice fixtures ahead other than arsenal. Arsenal and Everton defense are the best deal it seems, atleast for quite some games.

  6. Thinking of upgrading my midfield for this weekend.

    The current one is:

    Oezil. Hazard, Brady, Morrison (Whittingham)

    I’m finding it hard to let go of Oezil but would

    Oezil>Ramsey and then Brady>Gerrard be more effective.

    Alternatively I could just go Brady to Ramsey as I’ve £2.7m in the bank, bringing Whittingham in for Morrison

    What do others think?

    • What about Whittingham to Ramsey?

      • Going on last 3 games, Brady’s form is worse.

        • Fair enough, who are your forwards? Any chance to downgrade Rooney perhaps to go Brady to Gerrard? Pool has some nicer fixtures than Ramsey.

    • Morrison seems decent enough so I would leave him. Ozil been doing well the last couple of games, Brady to Ramsey doesn’t seem bad and change Ozil if/when he stops getting points
