The deadline bell for GW14 rang last night and those with Palace defenders have spent the day celebrating and patting themselves on the back.
But now its time to look forward to tonight’s nine other games, which offer huge potential to move higher in your leagues, or alternatively slide lower!
So, the team sheets are about to be revealed, with that dreaded word we all hate, namely “rotation”, ringing in our ears and causing untold stress and worry.
Who will Wenger rest? Will RvP be fit to face Everton? What surprises has the Special One got in store? Will Dzeko get the chance to break West Brom hearts again?
And then down to the action.
Keep track of all the action, the goals, the talking points, right here at FF247 Live Game Chat, an interactive chat which encourages you to keep involved and share your thoughts and emotions as the matches take place.
Good luck for the second part of GW14 from all at FF247!
So I get 97 points and not all my arrows were green haha
Anyway got some problems now, please RMT
Mig Daniels,
Clyne, Vlaar, Dawson, A Williams, Chester
Nasri, Ramsey, Hazard, Brady, Ravel
Aguero, Rooney, Suarez
As you can see Ravel and Rooney are suspended and Vlaar and Clyne have picked up knocks.
I have 1.2M in the bank (need 1.1 for Nasri to Silva) and 2FT
Should I just leave my team? Any advice?
Thanks
The one that was Red was Fantasy Football 247…
Morning Shep,
can’t argue with 97pts mate, but there were some proper scores this week, don’t be down !
On your transfers, I would wait until the manager’s press conferences to see what the situation is with Clyne and Vlaar. I wouldn’t panic too much this week, I don’t expect GW15 to be anywhere near as high scoring as last night and may bring a few people back down to earth.
hi there Mr. Steve Cook.hope you doing great.how was your GW?
Killer, I thought my week was good until I saw yours !! What a brilliant score mate, really pleased for you – a lovely turnaround, my friend, great to see !!
Thanks Cookie.yea I pray I can sustain my newly found momentum.I’m playing catch up atm.my GW would have even been better if I had played Coleman and shelvey instead of Morrison and Dawson but I will take what I got lol.you are really on fire this season Cookie.very happy for you too
Whats your Team Killer?
yea I guess…so what are your plans for the next GW Cookies
shep my team is “killer instincts”
sharm – thanks for the compliment.I guess you didn’t do badly too
Killer, right now planning on doing nothing as I have an idea in mind, but that may change when the manager’s talk ! I guess I could be impacted by rotation at the weekend, given I had everyone playing last night.
Yeah im happy since I jumped nicely in my main leagues…
Yeah im in no rush, and dont think its worth selling rooney and ravel for one gw just to bring them back in.
Cheers for the advice Cookie
Just like me Shep!
How much did you buy Rooney for? Because he is surely going for fall 0.2 by Monday I guess.
Many people who I know are bolting. Which is frankly stupid considering how consistent he has been.
They might dump him for this weekend and bring him back, at worst I will lose 0.1M but i’m not phased. Will keep him… just sucks having 11M sitting in the bench
Yes.. then monitor Clyne and Vlaar injuries.. may need to move one out if the injury is worse than expected.
If I had two transfers and no other concerns I might take a one week punt on another striker.. Maybe Long vs. Norwich.. and then get Rooney back again. His rate of fall is a little alarming to me though. But then I’ve also realized these punts backfire. So save the transfer is the best bet.
Well done Shep!
Cheers mate
Any advice for the weekend? Thinking just leaving my team as in
same as others said i reckon, just check you can field enough solid defenders.
if you can, consider rooney out (and posibly straight back) to make your money work for you.
Correction there, I managed to messed up om the easiest GW thus far:
GW points: 64
Overall: 865
Slow Poison-Do we put our arm round you or mock? What would you do?
Home at3am in New York. Haven’t been this drunk in forever haha. Yet still I think fantasy football!! 89idnt great but it’s abide average! Who likes the idea of Shaw and Morrison for Gabbidon /Ward and Shelvey? Or any thoughts?
Stick to Milk and Biscuits mate 😉
Haha took me like three attempts to read that. Lol
haha i remember my 1st beer 😉
My midfield is set in stone. Only Walcott or Silva could get me to budge.
As for the idea, I already bought in Gabbidon before the price rise and Shelvey is one of the best around in his price range. He is benefiting most from Michu and Bony’s absence. I wouldn’t mind Shelvey as a 4th mid rotating with a 5th guy depending on fixtures.
All but one of his returns have come at home, so he’s a good home away rotation with someone like Brady who also does reasonably well at home. I think Brady, if he finds his pre-injury form could rotate Home Away well with Shelvey.
How does it sound?
Sorry Sharm, that was meant for Milky not you !!
What?
Like a good idea but a lot of reading for my state.
I think i should sleep believe a drunken transfer!
Read when sober.
But keep an eye out for Shelvey as he will probably rise tonight.
get back on the  you nutcase
My mate threw up in the taxi. Haha I did my best cookie!
haha good effort mate, bet the cabbie loved that !! Quiet day ahead or you getting on it again ?
For all who are in the “Qualification (1 place) Banterbury” H2H i.e. the 56 member league, and on this site (hopefully), it would be better to actually know each other a little. Might make the game a little more fun. So just a general introduction would do. Nothing much.
For starters, I am the manager of Always Late XI (since I started in GW 2) and a Chelsea fan. Brought to the blue side by none other than Zola and his brilliance.
Morning guys, how’s everyone after the Suarez feast? Anyone NOT skipper him?
Morning ferg, my mrs didn’t skip goofy, she captained haz, still got 85pts though.
Morning Ellefcee, did you use your Potty winnings?
so I hit 92 this gw but still lost ground on the top 2 in my ml (i’m 3rd) and dropped out of the top 100k….wow!
on the plus side i was going to bring in Rooney this week but had a feeling he’d pick up a booking against Everton, my feeling was right
