Live Match Chat Gameweek 23 FPL News
Welcome to Live Match Chat Gameweek 23 FPL News: We may have been rudely interrupted by another FA Cup weekend but we are back with a midweek bonanza. Everyone loves a packed FPL schedule under the lights and having the games all tightly packed together with the points rolling in simultaneously adds to the excitement and drama. Tuesday embodies that perfectly with no less than seven games. Six of those kick off at 7.45pm, the main ones of FPL interest, certainly from from a captaincy perspective anyway, are probably Arsenal, or more accurately Sanchez, hosting Watford, whilst Kane and co look at ripping Moyes’ men a new one up north. It could be grim up there, as the saying goes. Liverpool host Chelsea at 8pm in what could be the game of the round and also one that probably dictates whether Chelsea take the title in March or whether they have to wait a few weeks until April to do so… Wednesday almost feels like a famine in comparison with just the three fixtures to consider. Man City are away but should feel entirely at home as they go from one soulless stadium to another to visit West Ham, Man Utd are at home and will be looking to ‘wear fur’ before Stoke host an in form Everton. Please join us as ever on Live Match Chat to rejoice in the points as they (hopefully) roll in. Or lament the ones missed…

What’s wrong with the BP system this system?
How did Barragan got 3 bonus points which they drew 1-1? He neither assisted nor scored
Negredo got 2 BP and Morrison whilst scoring
Valdes and Foster both made 4 saves however they were not even close to any BP
Nothing personal as i don’t own any of them neither my rivals
But it’s a perfect example
Really frustrating how the BP system is working
The Bp system has been broken for a while. They keep changing it but it seems to get worse.Assists seem to almost be worth as much as a goal especially for a defender and a defender can concede 2 goals and still get bp’s which i just dont get.As for Heaton he just has to make 1 save and keep a cs and he is always nailed for baps !!
Ya
Two players who attract BPs for fun are Kos and Heaton
Glad to own the latter since past my weeks though
True legend
*since past few weeks
Check out the bench of my ML rival this week. Ouch!!
Still got 47 points though
Haha
Epic Fail
46 is massive this week though
Plus he doesn’t have any worries for GW 26 blanks. Can easily bench Sanchez
Nice to see Cookie is one of the sponsors at Chelsea’s press conference yesterday
#onwardsandupwards
But if you look carefully you will notice another site member there also 😉
I can’t make out the black looking logo but i can see FF247 logo there.
That would be Swirly if my memory serves me right.
correct DMC!! It is indeed Swirly’s fine art work also
Ah! Well, than he has a conflict of interests!
So, Mitro, if you’re around, just out of curiosity, was that Fix feature on the transfer made by your ML opponent accurate?
Cheers.
DMC
It was. He told me last night. His ML opponent did indeed bring in Llorente.
How that works I don’t know and I think my head would hurt if I began to think about it
where even is the feature on the site? I haven’t seen it
Hi milburn,
It is on FFFix I think not the official site. A feature called “spy” . . . ?
Milburn – don’t know either and I am not sure I want to!
GP – first thought is that this is based on the sell and buy price and the team value. Of course that doesn’t work if the player being bough costs the same as any other for that position but there are not that many players with the exact same price, per position. Maybe this is trickier with defenders given that their price range is narrower. There’s also the max number of players per team which could help excluding candidates for the transfer in. Either that or plain black magic!!
Cheers GP. I know your talking about FFF but I still can’t see it ha. Do you need to have the top subscription for it perhaps?
I don’t use it at all Milburn so I’m not the man to ask I’m afraid.
And DMC seems to be to be a bit of a boffin. I’d watch him as a bit of a dark horse
Ehehe had to google that one GP. Now that I have, I’ll let you know soon the results of my investigation on how to predict your opponent’s Capo!
Milburn it’s under one of the top tabs on there, called something like Mini Leagues. You need to have a subscription to use it though. Given as Mitro has you could always just ask him to pop in your rivals FPL ID and he can tell you what it suggests they’ve done. Not that I’m suggesting how to circumvent their subscription thing of course 😉
Haha much appreciated mate. Nobody’s even made 1 as of yet to be fair; I was just curious about the whole thing. Would take a lot more than that insider knowledge to save my woeful season anyways.
As far as I know this feature is only available on their premium subscription which they charge about £80 quid for although I could be wrong.
I think they’re offering a free 7 day trial at the moment.
Cheers Kop
Hey guys what a rubbish gameweek so far. Do we know how long chambers is going to be out for. Also do we think Snoddy is going to be nailed on for the hammers. Thanks as always. I might hold onto chambers if it’s not going to be for too long.
Chambers has a hairline fracture and i believe is out for a few weeks.
Snoddy should be nailed on and can fill the spot Payet had but no-one can say for sure.
man u man
Karanka said it would be “one, two or four weeks maybe”. I think it is a foot fracture.
I think Snodgrass will play most of their games and hopefully he’ll get better playing with better players. I’m considering him for sure.
Thanks for that guys. Not sure whether to hold chambers or not now.
What are your other defensive options?
Yesterday there was comment which gave some numbers about what the top 1000 had done on a number of issues- can anyone tell me where to get this info please
colonial
Look at comment 50 on the previous page. You were asking and a couple of the guys shared some links for you to follow.
Hope that’s what you’re looking for.
