Live Match Chat Gameweek 23 FPL News
Welcome to Live Match Chat Gameweek 23 FPL News: We may have been rudely interrupted by another FA Cup weekend but we are back with a midweek bonanza. Everyone loves a packed FPL schedule under the lights and having the games all tightly packed together with the points rolling in simultaneously adds to the excitement and drama. Tuesday embodies that perfectly with no less than seven games. Six of those kick off at 7.45pm, the main ones of FPL interest, certainly from from a captaincy perspective anyway, are probably Arsenal, or more accurately Sanchez, hosting Watford, whilst Kane and co look at ripping Moyes’ men a new one up north. It could be grim up there, as the saying goes. Liverpool host Chelsea at 8pm in what could be the game of the round and also one that probably dictates whether Chelsea take the title in March or whether they have to wait a few weeks until April to do so… Wednesday almost feels like a famine in comparison with just the three fixtures to consider. Man City are away but should feel entirely at home as they go from one soulless stadium to another to visit West Ham, Man Utd are at home and will be looking to ‘wear fur’ before Stoke host an in form Everton. Please join us as ever on Live Match Chat to rejoice in the points as they (hopefully) roll in. Or lament the ones missed…

Morning peeps
Not a great week so far got 36 with Ibra & Baines to go.
Looking ahead at the minefield gwks can any tell me what teams are not effected by blanks,
My plan is to swap out Lallana & Davis (Eve)
Heard somewhere West Ham & WBA are safe from the blanks,
How’s this,
Lallana & Davis
To
Snoddy & Phillips
My team
Everton, Bournemouth, WBA and Wet Sham are the only teams to not have blanks yet, the FA cup draw for the next round doesn’t look favorable on paper for creating any new games either but I guess that may be dependent on the strength of the teams that the Premier sides put out, with only two games going ahead so far on GW 28 I don’t think that theirs much of a need to chase it (as it were) at the minute, I think having three or four maybe enough as long as you get a decent return for that (C) pick.
I’d maybe like to Snoddy play for West Ham first before taking the plunge with him but Philips fixtures look good going forward.
Cheers Andy
If Everton are safe then may just swap Lallana and roll over 2nd free transfer..
Got 7.3 Lallana cash who should I spend it on?
Siggy Antonio/Snoddy.
Everton are safe but I’m not sure about Davies place in the team with Gueye returning from the AFCON, I’m pretty sure Schneiderlin ain’t been bought to sit on the bench so you might have to watch for that, Stanislas might not be having any blanks but Bournemouth have tough looking up and coming fixtures so I’d maybe target one of them two over Lallana as no way would I be looking to sell a player who has Hull up next.
Add Swansea and Hull to that list too.
Didn’t know that, good spot.
I would love to get your ideas guys about my transfer plan.
On top is my current team with blanks for GW26 and 28
Below transfer plans.
Basically I plan to drop Arsenal coverage. Is almost sure they will have 2 blanks and they play Liverpool away in week 27. Since I didn`t have Alexis for a single game this season it makes this decision easier.
Another player that needs to go is Okaka. Even though is already 9 or 10 gameweeks since I brought him in I still don`t understand what was I thinking.
As you can see I have 2 MU players. They will be on the bench for week 26. United are playing Bournemouth in week 27 so they will come back. I still plan to drop Jones permanently from week 28 as with the Europa league starting I can see a lot of rotation done by Mourihno.
I hope to keep 2 transfers for week 28 to get 7 or 8 playing players from 6 already confirmed teams. If Fulham would give us a favor and knock out Spurs it would be ideal situation.
Also based on how the situation will unfold I`m thinking about Wildcarding around week 30-31 after all the double week games will be confirmed. I know that the general consensus is to wait and WC one week before but if as it is predicted at the moment the real big DGW will be played in game week 37 I see more value in going for WC much earlier.
Any ideas and opinions appreciated.
Ay Ay, chart looks great mate, seems that idle hands create the devils work
Agree with the first one of ditching Kos ahead of the Chelski game this week for an Everton player, I’d probably go for whoever’s cheaper out of Coleman/Baines (Coleman’s due a rise shortly and I’d like for the GW to play out before jumping), after that the plan’s look decent but who knows what spanner in the works the next GW will throw up so we can’t really comment on them too much.
What I would be watching for though is to see how much Sanchez’s price falls to for after GW 28 as I feel you’ll be needing him before the season ends, he’s potentialy a player I would even WC for to get into the side.
Does anyone know how bad the Rose injury is? Davies looks interesting if he’s out for a while
He left the ground in a knee brace i believe but signalled that the injury wasnt too bad.I wouldnt waste a transfer on somebody that you will have to take back out again in a few weeks potentially.
Yeah exactly. When it’s knee it’s normally bad that’s why I’m waiting to hear. I’d only consider it if it’s more than a month
Raz, i hope this makes you feel happier – or at least brings a smile to your face
Anybody know anything about Gabbiadinni – Saints new striker priced at 6.5.
