    West Brom have had 60% of possession in the opening 15 lads…

    Hmmm, c’mon SAS, vamos Sturridge!

    Hopefully this comment will mean liverpool start scoring, but SAS just don’t look on their game today.
    Either WBA have done their homework on the type of runs and passes they make, or SAS just got got going yet.
    All passes between the two have been intercepted with ease.

    I posted something a long time ago on the old message boards that FPL should add – throughout the season you have three “free” substitutions, when the gameweek is over you get to change one thing. E.g Shaw on my bench with 6, bring him on for Williamson who only has 1. But you only have 3 chances to do that for the whole season, so you would have to use them wisely. Guess I’m just thinking up ways how somehow my gameweek would be better! Should have kept Bardsley over Williamson…sigh

      Worst case scenario you’ll have an average gameweek. With Suarez stilling playing and like 5 top players to come I don’t think you will do all that bad. Probably above average even.

      • TJ says:

        True. It’s just so many what ifs. I made lots of mistakes last season because I was new to the game, but this year I’ve been pretty unlucky so far.

        • Raziel says:

          Same here. Last year I almost ended up in top 50k. This year is really bad. Had like 3 or 4 bad gameweeks in a row (30-39 Gameweeks). After those 3 or 4 bad ones only had good gameweeks. Last year I was lucky, this year not so much but also made mistakes I couldn’t have made last year such as sticking with last years best achievers at the start of the season.

          And the luck part, I think my WC team has about 3 or 4 injured players now plus Mannone (12-14 points sitting on the bench).

        • TJ says:

          Exactly. There are 3 things I would change so far about this season: 1, get Ramsey in early, 2, a few terrible captain choices (e.g. one GW where Lukaku had 2, where as Hazard got like 18), and now this one – Williamson over Bardsley etc.

      Actually TJ although I also have Mannone on my bench I think players that come off the bench should get half the points they scored!! My reasoning is why should u benefit with points for players that u didn’t think were good enough to be in your starting XI initially!!!!! Im aware of rotation and things but thats the chamce u take with some players! To be discussed at half time!!! smile

      Rules a bit different than here, but it’s interesting 😉 …

    What Coutinho does always looks good but it’s rarely effective. He always messes up in the end. Shit, I think I even prefer Sterling over Coutinho.

      Coutinho has been one of Liverpool’s key performers in recent games. Granted he hasn’t done it from an FPL point of view but that wont concern Brendan Rodgers!!

      • Raziel says:

        I know he’s a fan favorite. I’m still not convinced on the kid yet though. When he played poor games for Inter I had some sympathy, I just don’t see enough growth.

      Some Interesting stats :
      -Suarez hasn’t scored a single goal this year against the “Big 4” ! (Che/Ars/City/Utd) ;
      -Sturridge has scored at least 1 goal in every game since coming back from injury & a total of 5 (hope he improves his tally today 😉 ) ;
      -WBA & Pool haven’t played a game that ended in a draw over the last 30yrs !
