Never done a RMT, may be why I’m so low in the rankings but fingers crossed this bunch of renegades will see me get my first green arrow in the FF247 classico :-

    De Gea – (Davis)

    Koscielny – Evans – Mertesacker – (Vlaar) – (Collins)

    Nolan – Mata – Cazorla – Silva – (Colback)

    Benteke – Suarez – Adebayor

I’ve lucked out with having an Agueroless WC team, however I fancy Barcelona to do the business over Man City so I’m thinking of redistributing my funds over the coming the weeks (An actual stratergy) so that I’ll be able to accommodate him easily over Benteke when he returns. Any thoughts on how I should go about this?

Id remove de gea as utd arent great at the back and maybe mannone in his place
2 arsenal dfs is brave but may pay off
I reckon nolan is dodgy but clearly worked this week but I wouldnt have him
I recommend a city striker considering their upcoming fixtures

Hmmm, expensive goalie and it’s not like United have kept many cleansheets, plus if he does get an injury you’re doomed since Davis isn’t a regular. I have a much cheaper option with perfect rotation up to week 34: Mannone – Marshall

Doubling up on Arsenal I get (even though they have really hard fixtures ahead, would swap one for another top defender. Vlaar and Collins are good shouts.
Nolan doing well when Carroll plays, Mata is consistent, Santi is good and Silva is great. Colback is a decent 5th mid, especially if you look that he got a goal/assist yday.

Benteke I would personally take out, Suarez is a keeper and Ade did well the past few games. Isn’t Ade injured at the moment though?

So only changes I would make is making the defense cheaper. Don’t double up on United defense (goalie+Evans, just Evans is good though). SHrugs. That’s about it. Hope my ranting helps.

Andy – can you link your team, mate ?
I mean – really link it – not type it like you did…
Good to know ur cash in the bank – but what’s more important we need to have a look of ur TV (transfer Value) of ur team…For how much cash u bought someone and how mauch you would gain/lose if/when you sell him…

        • HL says:

          @Andy – yep !

          Ok:
          – too much Utd cover at the back…not a squad u can trust defensively…though with Evas now out – you can keep DDG as Utd have a good schedule ahead…think he’s bound to get a few clean sheets…
-Kosc & Mert – ARS have a challenging upcoming few games …not sure you should have both…if u decide to drop Mert, u can easily switch to Shaw (good schedule ahead) or Ivanovic ( a more expensive option/but Chelsea is very solid in defense under Mou)…
-if u wanna play 3-4-3 Mata/Caz/Silva/Nolan is too weak for me…I expect Nolan’s pts to dry up & Caz is not worth it (pts vs value)…Lallana is a good choice 4 Caz…upgrading Nolan would be good, too…
-Again if u play 3-4-3 Ade/Benteke/Suarez is too weak for me…
Goofy/Sturridge(Pool has good schedule ahead) + J. od looks better if u ask me…

Just threw a few ideas there, but at the very end it’s ur team and u should make the final call !
I’m sure u ll hear some different advices round here, so hope a few of them will work out for ya 😉 !

Thanks for the replies guys, plenty food for thought, my original idea was to start shifting value from my D and everyone seems to have that consensus so that’s where I’ll start for now. Unsure about the man City forwards for now but tomorrow will be a good indicator of how they’ll play without Aguero. thanks for the feedback all.

      Cheers

    Raziel says:

With Parr back he’s a good option to replace the likes of a Chambers/Bruce. All 3.9m. Fear even if Chambers is fit again he will lose his place to Clyne, Bruce I think already lost it. Parr is the best option, if you got 0.3m more you could also go for Ward.

Completely unrelated: for the past few days I have been reading the Godfather. I am now about 350 pages in, Sonny has just been shot. Does anybody know what I am talking about? I just had to share this :p

Hmmm, most people watch the movies I think. Something you could do after the books. 3 of the best movies in the history. On IMDB probably in top 5.

      • Raziel says:

I was right. Godfather 1 ranked second best movie of all time, Godfather 2 ranked third best movie of all time. The Shawshank Redemption is ranked highest.

      • Raziel says:

Anyway, I’m off. Have fun with Arsenal. Or whatever you’ll be doing. Good luck to all. Cya.
