Live Match Chat Gameweek 30 FPL News

Welcome to Live Match Chat Gameweek 30 FPL News: Anyone else bored of these international breaks just when the season is hotting up to it’s conclusion? Don’t worry, it was rhetorical, and anyway we’d assume a massive majority in favour of the answer “Yes!”. It’s full throttle ahead from here until the end though, and it should be fun as we have double game-weeks coming at us left right and centre. DGW34 was announced last week, although that one looks a bit damp given the teams involved. DGW37 should be a bonanza though with plenty to choose from. There will also be another mini DGW in either 35 or 36. This week is your standard fair with 10 games square and we begin with a Merseyside derby at lunchtime on Saturday. This is followed by six 3pm games with all of Spurs, Chelsea and Man United featuring. Saturday is concluded as it begun with another local derby which sees Southampton welcome Bournemouth. Sunday concludes our game-week with two games beginning with Swansea hosting Middlesbrough in a relegation scrap and then we have possibly the game of the weekend as Arsenal welcome Man City.

DGW34 IS ON THERE AS CONFIRMED BUT DGW37 IS VERY MUCH PROVISIONAL!
That’s our best guess as to how it will pan out and there is still Southampton vs Arsenal to be rearranged. That looks likely to be in GW35 or 36. The FPL site itself has said that they expect the remaining games to be confirmed on or around the 7th April.

Lu(c)aku doesn’t look great right now… he’s bagged 10 of his goals in the 80th minute or later though!

That’s already a joint-record in the Premier League apparently.

Walker and Son on the bench for Spurs.

Janssen starts up front though instead of Alli the tinker, both Costa and Haz start after being flagged for the best part of two weeks which is surprisingly good for me as I’ve kept hold of both, other main one I can see is Deeney’s been benched for Watford.

Great only had 3 fit defenders looks like ill only have 10 players this g.w.

If Mane is out injured Origi could be a decent shout

When was your last captaincy failure / blank / two-pointer?

Aside from today, with Blankaku returning, it was back 13 gameweeks ago (GW17) when I last had one!

Kane blanked at home against Burnley on the 18th of Decemeber last year. I’m shocked…

      Andy says:

Funnily enough as he’s in the news for all the wrong reasons again it was Mane in 28 for me, I’ve had a fair few (c) blanks this season on the whole though, I did manage to (c) a couple of hat tricks which more than makes up for it in the long run.

      • jamesimmo says:

Decent going. Yeah, to be fair, many of those ‘successful’ captaincies were for 6 (i.e. 12) points.

Sanchez (c) for 23 —–> 46 against West Ham (A) was very satisfying though. He plays them at home next! My tip of the day… 😉

        • Andy says:

I’ll be giving him the armband for that as well Justin case, could it be the new Norwich City for Suarez everyone (c) him campaign getting started.

Calling that a result so far. Mane goal, neither ML rival has him. Lukaku blank, both do. I took him out. Just need a Vardy Party now….

Very bold call, that, taking Lukaku out given his form. The danger looks to have passed though! Man United (A) for him next as well, hmmm, you’re probably a couple of gameweek’s ahead of the pack with that one. Fair play.

time to get shot of Lukaku? no dgw and not much to play for.
