Live Match Chat Gameweek 31 FPL News

Welcome to Live Match Chat Gameweek 31 FPL News: Time to get excited folks. Come on now, who doesn’t love a midweek FPL game-week?! 10 games, 2 days, bish bash bosh. No messing about. No waiting for Friday’s early KO (yep, remember them? They’re coming back to a screen near you soon…) and then having it all drag on until Monday evening. Midweek FPL gets the job done like Joe Pesci in a bar room. We start with 4 games games on Tuesday with the main FPL highlights probably being Heaton attempting to single-handedly thwart Stoke, Vardy attempting to Party against Sunderland, Watford wondering how to stop McAuley and Ibra finally being unleashed once more. Wednesday brings a quick conclusion with the Wenger banners being readied, ‘Boro in ‘not scoring shocker’, Big Sam furthering his England manager claims, Spurs beating the crap out of Swansea, Chelsea putting the title to bed and then finises with a Liverpool midfielder posting a huge score against Bournemouth. The only question being which one…

As ever, post your comments and enjoy the games. Together.

DGW34 IS ON THERE AS CONFIRMED BUT DGW37 IS VERY MUCH PROVISIONAL!
That’s our best guess as to how it will pan out and there is still Southampton vs Arsenal to be rearranged. That looks likely to be in GW35 or 36. The FPL site itself has said that they expect the remaining games to be confirmed on or around the 7th April.

Teams with DGW’s ahead… (with thanks to Rosco)

Fuck – I’m dropping like a stone in my ML’s with some taking 30+ points on me this week. Not quite sure the direction to take.
Feels right to get in Hazard. No DGW. But

Too early Stevie G ? Come on. Its Chelsea’s

That was a big hurdle tonight. A draw would have done them but a win… yeah, can’t this changing now.

      • TheDreamers says:

Liverpool supporter but dont rate Stevie G as pundit at all. Very biased.

Joe Hart – not good enough at this level either. A few years ago , looked top notch. Not anymore (even if young)

Haha sorry mate I haven’t got it on, thought you were just making an observation but that makes sense now!

I assume he’s said they should go get Hart too then? I agree he’s not good enough. Schmeichel if anyone? I’d move early too in case DDG ups and leaves as they’ll surely target him.

        • TheDreamers says:

He was talking about the City situation with the GK.

Schmeichel now looks an accomplished “proper” keeper. Very rare he makes mistakes and comes up with big saves when called upon. I remember some skit of him going to Liverpool for 11m in Jan. Certainly be an improvement on Mignolet who is a good shot stopper and thats it.

Siggy is out for me, probably to Sane/Sterling. Want Hazard in too but no way to do so. 42 points this week for me… defence scored just 8 points in total zzz

I know Everton have some decent fixtures coming up but anyone tempted to sell Lukaku?
