Live Match Chat Gameweek 32 FPL News

Welcome to Live Match Chat Gameweek 32 FPL News: It’s weeks like this that separate the ‘casuals’ from the serious players as we begin our 3rd gameweek in seven days. Remembering the deadline is one thing, being properly prepared and planned with such a short turnaround is another. Hopefully you were but either way it’s probably too late now! Gameweek 32 begins with Spurs looking to put an early marker down and place subsequent pressure on Chelsea as they take on Watford at home. We then have five 3pm kick offs, the highlight from an FPL point of view being Kun facing Hull at home. That’s probably it to be fair looking at those sorry fixtures! Well ok, you could make an argument for having West Brom defenders or maybe some sort of interest in West Ham vs Swansea but if anyone is getting excited about ‘Boro vs Burnley then give us a minute to find you the number for the Samaritans…

Saturday evening ends with Chelsea hoping to restore that lead over Spurs as they visit Bournemouth.

Sunday brings us two games beginning with the ‘Moyes Derby’ which sees Sunderland put to the test by Ibra and co. This is followed by what should be an entertaining encounter as home boys Everton entertain in form Leicester.

The gameweek then extends into Monday and this should be a cracker too. Say what you want about Big Sam but if there’s one thing in football he relishes more than anything it is a home game against Arsenal! He’ll have had this one ringed on his calendar for months in advance…

Please join us as ever to discuss the games as they happen and share your feelings, successes and woes as the action unfolds and hopefully the FPL points flood in for you.

DGW34 IS ON THERE AS CONFIRMED BUT DGW37 IS VERY MUCH PROVISIONAL!
That’s our best guess as to how it will pan out and there is still Southampton vs Arsenal to be rearranged. That looks likely to be in GW35 or 36. The FPL site itself has said that they expect the remaining games to be confirmed on or around the 7th April.

Teams with DGW’s ahead… (with thanks to Rosco)

OK Alonso owners, be honest: in between when he lost his clean sheet points and when he scored that goal, how many of you were already thinking of how you could spend the money after you rage-transferred him out?? Haha, I know I was! laugh

Sure was red, see my comments at 37.2!

      • RedVT says:

Haha, too funny Rosco. That goal saved him- for the time being at least! Not sure I can keep him around when it’s WC time, might need to use that money. Nice score so far man, I’m on 64 with Valencia, Walcott, and Lukaku to go. Hope the points keep coming in! smile

        • Rosco77 says:

Yeah his ears must have been burning!! I reckon I’ll try to keep him for DGW 37 but we’ll see eh! He needs to buck his ideas up!
Nice scoring man so we’re on the same points pretty much with virtually sane players left!

        • Rosco77 says:

What’s your predicted rank red? You must be near top 1k!?? That would be awesome!!

        • RedVT says:

Not sure what my predicted rank is Rosco, I just wait to see when the game’s updated. Top 1K would be awesome but I’ll be happy with a green arrow and winning my Banterbury H2H match! smile

      • Rosco77 says:

You’re doing great man! I was about 50 points behind you after last GW which was about 11k places, it’s really tough to progress up the top end! I’m predicted 6.5k at the min so I reckon you’ll be within 1k , you’ll be the poster boy for 247!

    Eagle says:

Hey guys I’ve had Kelly of Palace rotting in my bench for weeks but I’ve noticed he is starting some games lately. Is he filling up for Dann? For how long will Dann be out or should I ask for how long will Kelly be starting? The reason I’m asking is because my other sub defender is Amat so I might as well replace Amat with Stephens if Kelly will be starting for the DGW right?

Has anyone picked their wildcard team for Gw37 and worked backwards to see if it would actually work to pick it now?

    Raziel says:

Sighs. Really stopped enjoying the game as of late. Like nothing went right since Christmas. Will be glad when this forsaken season is over. It sucks.

      Raziel says:

I act stopped watching the bloody games. That’s how annoyed I am.

      • Mitro says:

        See comment below raz 😉

        • Raziel says:

I am actually considering it. If I am not enjoying myself no more. I have to step away from it. No biggie since there are like 4.5mil players

        • Mitro says:

Raz – you are a good FF manager have faith brother xx

        • Smash10 says:

Anything inside the top 100k is really decent now. There is so much help out there now plus there are more players

        • Mitro says:

Smash – it’s a lot harder than it use to be!

        • TheDreamers says:

Rather than quitting, ask yourself, what about it were you enjoying when you were enjoying it? Have you been taking hits? Maybe cut them down. If you havent, maybe you should – something to consider.

        • RedVT says:

This is crazy talk Raz. Take a break from fantasy in the summer and recharge your batteries. You’re a great FPL manager and besides, if you don’t play who’s going to give us the lowdown on the Dutch players next season?? laugh

        • Mitro says:

we should all play the game our way!!

        • Eagle says:

Raz – get over it. You still have more points than me and I don’t feel like quitting! Im at 54(-4) ATM with a slight movement up. I know how it feels, just take it on the chin and recover and think thoroughly on your next moves.

        • Raziel says:

It’s cool peepz. And you are right Eagles.

Just annoyed with stuff going on in real life. I hope to get some good distraction from FPL but it’s been an absolute fiasco, as of late. So a little annoyed about that. No worries though. I am just bitching, bitching, bitching. I need to get it out of my system, I guess. Hehe. 😉

Normally when I bitch, I joke. Today, I was bitching because of the bitching though. I was really annoyed. You guys have those times? When nothing seems to go your way. Even though you are being good and stuff? :p

          Anyway, it’s cool. 😉

        • inittowinit says:

Dammit Raz, I missed all this. Next time you have a full on meltdown be sure to email me and warn me please. Just for comedy value if nothing else 😉

      • Rosco77 says:

Raz you’re one of my favs round here since I started playing last year, have faith and you’ll be fine!
