Live Match Chat Gameweek 35 FPL News
Welcome to Live Match Chat Gameweek 35 FPL News: After a sensational Alvaro Negredo display in DGW 34, we head into a buffer of sorts. With doubles in 34, 36 and 37, this GW we can relax a little, sort of. We kick it off with four 3pm fixtures. It is pure excitement when the low scoring Saints tangle with a difficult opponent to not score on, Hull. It should be a test of wills to see who underperforms more, the Saints attack or the Hull defence. If you think that doesn’t offer enough to make you fall asleep, perhaps a taste of Stoke vs West Ham? Over the last 10 matches these two are 16th in 17th in points and have scored 20 goals combined over those 10×2 games. Yeah, a goal a game. So snooze should be on the loose in this one. For those that don’t need a mid afternoon nap, I present to you Sunderland vs Bournemouth. This could provide us with comedy gold, in particular on defence, as neither team attempts to play any. The last of the opening 4 fixtures sees West Brom welcome in Leicester, yeah, moving on. In the 5:30 game Palace hosts those away stars, Burnley. With 3 draws in their last 6 away games, think we can say they are in-form, perhaps I will place a bet on them.
Luckily after enduring a Saturday of not having any real footy to watch and feeling properly rested, we come to Sunday. Yes, yes, yes, yes…sorry was watching when Harry met Sally orga, errrr, restaurant scene. Where were we at? Oh yes, Sunday footy. Lunch time sees the battle for fourth resume, as United tangles with a Swansea side who also has a lot to play for. Both teams in need of a win, will hopefully lead to some goals, maybe, Jose is capable of sucking the fun out of any game, so be aware. That is followed by two 2pm-ish encounters. Boro and their vaunted attack will look to score some goals, well, a goal vs City. City’s fans (player’s families) will want to get out of that red velvet sandwich they are currently caught in with LFC one point ahead and United one point behind tickling their tuckus. We also see Lukaku’s former and future employer Chesea visit Goodison looking to inch closer to the title. CFC has slowly let Spurs crawl back into the race, so they can break their hearts again at the end. In the last Sunday fixture we have the possibility of pure joy. We see the possibility of killing 2 dreams with one stone. When Spurs face Arsenal only one result would do us right. A loss for Tottenham would all but end Spurs title dreams to their bitter rivals and hopefully such a result would lead to a new contract for Wenger. Sounds like a win-win to me.
Monday finishes off the GW with Watford hosting Liverpool. Should be a very predictable game. If City and United win expect LFC to do also, If either of the Manchester sides drop points expect LFC to. If there is one thing we know is that if LFC is given an opportunity, they let it slip away.
Please join us as ever to discuss the games as they happen and share your feelings, successes and woes as the action unfolds and hopefully the FPL points flood in for you.

hey all going to pull the trigger on my wild card what do you think…
Do you still have bench boost?
+1 knowing whether you have BB would help us give you feedback.
There’s a whole lot of issues there dude! But yes knowing the context i.e. If BB is available may help us assess better!
Well I’d definitely ship out Coutinho!
sorry no bench boost
Second go of this (sooo much work getting done today lol) no bench boost, thoughts,
Anichebe is there to sit on the bench,
It’s not confirmed however it’s likely that Aguero has a groin injury and will miss the rest of the season.
this guy Aguero is made of glass it seems
Second draft, the tinkering is well on its way!
Decent team that
Very good team that but there have been some concerns today about the game time of Davies and Benalouane so they could screw you over.
How much points Matic will get you? Benny and Davies won’t play much. I have concerns with Gabby’s playing time and Sanchez’s form
Any suggesstions Chris?
Really good team!! Benny is obviously a concern but I can see Davies playing! Poch ain’t going to rush rose back plus rose isn’t match fit and will get minutes from the bench IMO
Not sure you really need double Arsenal and Southampton defence id downgrade Cech to Pickford and upgrade Monreal to Cahill or Luiz.
He can do that for GW37 😉
Cahill will probably score more points than Cech and Monreal put together in gw 36 ! 😉
Maybe; but having a player who’s playing 2 games must be worth a punt?
Noted, the plan is to load for the DGW in 36 and then convert in 37 to Chelsea yes
Yeah but not sure you need double Arsenal at the back with their cs record.
Just playing with a 3-5-2 WC… which do people prefer??
No bench boost?
Sorry, yes I have BB.
Ah right then does it matter? I prefer the 2nd team anyway.
Well for the other two GW’s, yes!
Well it’s still team 2 for me anyway.
Thanks Matt! Was just a thought, I should stop tinkering 😉
Haha yeah I think you should leave it be now
B… it doesn’t have Anichebe in!
+1000000000
Alright, alright I get the message
But does have double Sunderland at the back…… : oogle:
Should be …. :oogle:
Yeah could you not replace Kone with Stephens banjo?
+ Infinity……
I’m very aware that would be the sensible thing to do. Despite that I will not consider anyone from that team. Thanks though.
:big-lol: fair enough mate, good luck.
Coutinho going off!! Get the fuck in!!!
Hurrahhhhhhh!!!
U put a curse on him mitro
Ah shit. That’s terrible luck Dreamers. Feel for you mate.
Guessing it helps Mitro in some way though!
In the semi of our works cup! My rival has coutinho 😉
I was worried he was going to give me a headache tonight, but at least I now know to ship him!
Damn, hate to see a Liverpool player come off injured, but that early Coutinho exit means I’ve wrapped up the Banterbury League 1 H2H and can’t be caught. We – are – going up, we are going up!
Congrats Red!
Thanks Milburn!
Congrats Red!!
Get in!!
Cheers Matt and Rosco!
Well I’m boring myself now so no doubt I’m boring everyone rose even more so! Apologies! Trying to take on everyone’s opinions so one more time, team 1 or team 2?
Don’t much like the idea of losing Alonso and of I Dutch Willy I need to drop albrighton … who knows!
Chelsea will be solid at the back until they win the league!
I prefer team 1 Rosco.
Hmmmm so Chelsea will be solid but you prefer team 1! Damnit but then I guess just because Chelsea will be solid does Alonso in the team mean more points? Essentially losing Alonso means I can get Vert over Davies and Monreal who has an extra game… think I’m answering my own question here!
Man this WC takes over every waking minute! Thhbk you might have been on to something just dropping it last Friday mate!
Yeah I think being able to have Vert who is nailed on and Monreal who has an extra game just edges any points Alonso might get. It’s a tough one though.
Must spell check my posts before posting!
For reference this is what I had earlier …
