Welcome to Live Match Chat Gameweek 35 FPL News: After a sensational Alvaro Negredo display in DGW 34, we head into a buffer of sorts. With doubles in 34, 36 and 37, this GW we can relax a little, sort of. We kick it off with four 3pm fixtures. It is pure excitement when the low scoring Saints tangle with a difficult opponent to not score on, Hull. It should be a test of wills to see who underperforms more, the Saints attack or the Hull defence. If you think that doesn’t offer enough to make you fall asleep, perhaps a taste of Stoke vs West Ham? Over the last 10 matches these two are 16th in 17th in points and have scored 20 goals combined over those 10×2 games. Yeah, a goal a game. So snooze should be on the loose in this one. For those that don’t need a mid afternoon nap, I present to you Sunderland vs Bournemouth. This could provide us with comedy gold, in particular on defence, as neither team attempts to play any. The last of the opening 4 fixtures sees West Brom welcome in Leicester, yeah, moving on. In the 5:30 game Palace hosts those away stars, Burnley. With 3 draws in their last 6 away games, think we can say they are in-form, perhaps I will place a bet on them.

Luckily after enduring a Saturday of not having any real footy to watch and feeling properly rested, we come to Sunday. Yes, yes, yes, yes…sorry was watching when Harry met Sally orga, errrr, restaurant scene. Where were we at? Oh yes, Sunday footy. Lunch time sees the battle for fourth resume, as United tangles with a Swansea side who also has a lot to play for. Both teams in need of a win, will hopefully lead to some goals, maybe, Jose is capable of sucking the fun out of any game, so be aware. That is followed by two 2pm-ish encounters. Boro and their vaunted attack will look to score some goals, well, a goal vs City. City’s fans (player’s families) will want to get out of that red velvet sandwich they are currently caught in with LFC one point ahead and United one point behind tickling their tuckus. We also see Lukaku’s former and future employer Chesea visit Goodison looking to inch closer to the title. CFC has slowly let Spurs crawl back into the race, so they can break their hearts again at the end. In the last Sunday fixture we have the possibility of pure joy. We see the possibility of killing 2 dreams with one stone. When Spurs face Arsenal only one result would do us right. A loss for Tottenham would all but end Spurs title dreams to their bitter rivals and hopefully such a result would lead to a new contract for Wenger. Sounds like a win-win to me.

Monday finishes off the GW with Watford hosting Liverpool. Should be a very predictable game. If City and United win expect LFC to do also, If either of the Manchester sides drop points expect LFC to. If there is one thing we know is that if LFC is given an opportunity, they let it slip away.

Please join us as ever to discuss the games as they happen and share your feelings, successes and woes as the action unfolds and hopefully the FPL points flood in for you.

Ok so given the comments about Gabriel and Davies bring a risk and Willy being a bad choice this is what I’ve managed, which one looks better?
Can’t see how else I can make my defence better without sacrifice elsewhere so Costa has became Vardy as the major change!

Is Chelsea defensive cover absolutely necessary? I’m thinking of dropping Alonso in order to fund this Wildcard draft what do you think?

      This is the original draft

Any feedback would be appreciated lads?

        • Milburn says:

Id want Chelsea cover at the back but at this stage I think it all depends on your ML position and who your opponents have. The only other option would be to downgrade Costa IMO

        • Matt says:

Cheers Milburn. I’ve dropped from 2nd to 4th over the last 2 GWs so need to get back up again.

I’ve changed the team up a bit to this and it leave’s me 0.4 left itb. I’m a little unsure about Gabby that’s why I was trying to fit Costa in that top pic.

Gents, how are we? 50 puts and no skin in the game today so I’m seeing a drop from 12k -> 15k this week… shoulda kept faith in siggy for 1 more week SMH
OKay, so I’ve been slowly building my DGW37 team without a WC and I’m pretty happy with what I’ve got. Thoughts on my move(s) for this week?
Zaha is leaving this week but for who?
    First, second, or something different?

Hi All, busy tinkering with WC, however i do feel Gabby is a risk and Costa is needed.
    The only moves would be
    Cech to Pickford
    Monreal to Holgate
    King to Matic
    Gabby to Costa

Wild Card Team: Pickford, Capoue, Maguire and Holagte on the bench.

    Any thoughts?

Rashford might be a better option over Defoe. Also I think u should get yoshida for at least this week over Maguire
