Welcome to Live Match Chat Gameweek 38 FPL News: And there it was gone! 37 weeks have flashed before your eyes once more. And 38 will do the same as well because all 10 games happen on the same day at the same time. It always seems a bit cruel to have all your FPL hopes and expectations finally decided for you in such a swift fashion. Especially since we’ve all agonised over relatively minor points in game-weeks which have sometimes dragged on for as much as 7 days, as GW37 did. But that’s the way it is. Strap yourself in for a smidgen over 90 minutes. It’ll be agony or ecstasy for many. We hope it works out for you all. It wont. Not for everyone anyway. If it does then feel free to share and celebrate your success. If it doesn’t then know you have friends to share that with too. We’ve all been there and seen both sides of the coin. In a nutshell that is what has made this community great over the years, there’s a mutual understanding and respect and an empathy for whichever way it works out.
As the season comes to a close we would like to say a HUGE thank you to everyone who has been a part of the Live Match Chat discussion throughout the campaign. You make each match day come alive with every comment. It’s been a pleasure to watch each game-week unfold from the eyes of dedicated FPL players but also just football fans in general. The discussions that arise can range from the sublime to the ridiculous but are always entertaining regardless!
Unfortunately we don’t have any World Cup or Euros to entertain and keep us busy over the summer but fear not as we will be staying ‘relatively’ active. We will forgive you if you need a break of course but we have a good number of articles in the pipeline already. We have a couple of interviews lined up and then we plan to gear up for next season with some articles featuring the promoted teams as we always do. And if you are playing MLS then Guy will of course be publishing his tips on that as normal every week. However you choose to spend your FPL free summer we wish you all the best, we thank you for spending the season with us and we hope to see you again in August to begin the merry go round all over again!

Morning guys! Finished the gw at 93 pts with OR of 20k and won both my ML which I’m thrilled! This is my first year playing every game week and my past two years rank were 300k without much planning and just goin with my gut feel. This year, thanks to everyone on FF247 for the witty and quality articles week in week out and for the impromptu advice. Using this site has clearly made a difference to my game and next year will definitely look to optimizing my hits as I’m still guilty of making some crappy hits to make profit from player value. Thanks you!!

Thanks to all FF247 staff and the community for giving me input esp for RMT, Captain pick, best fixtures, DGW etc.
I’m having the best ranking this year with 2,333 pts OR 5k and won all my ML except the site league.
Cannot wait for next season having Kane 13.0, Jesus and Kun at 12.0, Sanchez and Hazard at 10.0 and Costa for Yaun currency.

Felt a bit lost this morning, but it was also nice to be not stressing over the next GW as they’ve been coming thick and fast in the final weeks! I’m sure I’ll be missing it all in a few days but I suppose I better find out whats going on in this real world I keep hearing people talking about!
Might do some number crunching and looking at the top 10 managers and see if there’s some trends and patterns in there that will help next season first though!!

Its been an emotional season, I managed to win my mini leagues, although fell short of my top 50K target finish by 1, 986 places.
However there’s no way i would have finished that well without the advice and help on this site, so just want to say thanks to everyone!
You’ll be seeing me in the regulars league next year i hope, but for now its time to relax a little! Might actually have to do something at work now instead of stressing over my team 😛
