Live Match Chat Gameweek 38 FPL News

Welcome to Live Match Chat Gameweek 38 FPL News: And there it was gone! 37 weeks have flashed before your eyes once more. And 38 will do the same as well because all 10 games happen on the same day at the same time. It always seems a bit cruel to have all your FPL hopes and expectations finally decided for you in such a swift fashion. Especially since we’ve all agonised over relatively minor points in game-weeks which have sometimes dragged on for as much as 7 days, as GW37 did. But that’s the way it is. Strap yourself in for a smidgen over 90 minutes. It’ll be agony or ecstasy for many. We hope it works out for you all. It wont. Not for everyone anyway. If it does then feel free to share and celebrate your success. If it doesn’t then know you have friends to share that with too. We’ve all been there and seen both sides of the coin. In a nutshell that is what has made this community great over the years, there’s a mutual understanding and respect and an empathy for whichever way it works out.

As the season comes to a close we would like to say a HUGE thank you to everyone who has been a part of the Live Match Chat discussion throughout the campaign. You make each match day come alive with every comment. It’s been a pleasure to watch each game-week unfold from the eyes of dedicated FPL players but also just football fans in general. The discussions that arise can range from the sublime to the ridiculous but are always entertaining regardless!

Unfortunately we don’t have any World Cup or Euros to entertain and keep us busy over the summer but fear not as we will be staying ‘relatively’ active. We will forgive you if you need a break of course but we have a good number of articles in the pipeline already. We have a couple of interviews lined up and then we plan to gear up for next season with some articles featuring the promoted teams as we always do. And if you are playing MLS then Guy will of course be publishing his tips on that as normal every week. However you choose to spend your FPL free summer we wish you all the best, we thank you for spending the season with us and we hope to see you again in August to begin the merry go round all over again!

I fell short in my main cash mini-league by 3 points… it’s my first defeat. I’ll hit back next year.

Thanks to any and all of you that helped me during the season; hopefully I managed to help you at some stage too.

This wasn’t my year but I will be grateful having managed to move from 1.6m in gw 20 to final rank of 240k.
I wanna say a missive thank you to all who have contributed in this site, without your input I won’t have made it to that decent rank (comparatively).
    Thank you all.

Holy cow, just checked the Regulars League and even though he wasn’t around much this year and was gracious enough to bow out of the prizes because of it, WhoIsRonaldo ended up with 2,449 points and 133 OR! Hope he’s around more next season to answer some questions and RMTs! laugh

Hey guys, our head to head league final was a draw. The website doesnt say who won. We both scored the same amount of goals this gameweek. Do we have to work it out ourselves? Doesn’t seem right. Should be most goals, then goals conceded, then a virtual coin toss.

If you’re on about the overall league and if it’s a draw then the team with the most points wins. If you’ve removed yourselves to some one off game then it’s goals scored, goals conceded in that order. If it’s still level then it’s a coin toss.

Thanks, yeah talking about a private mini league. I just thought that the game would count up the goals conceded for us and make it clear who won
