Welcome to Live Match Chat Gameweek 38 FPL News: And there it was gone! 37 weeks have flashed before your eyes once more. And 38 will do the same as well because all 10 games happen on the same day at the same time. It always seems a bit cruel to have all your FPL hopes and expectations finally decided for you in such a swift fashion. Especially since we’ve all agonised over relatively minor points in game-weeks which have sometimes dragged on for as much as 7 days, as GW37 did. But that’s the way it is. Strap yourself in for a smidgen over 90 minutes. It’ll be agony or ecstasy for many. We hope it works out for you all. It wont. Not for everyone anyway. If it does then feel free to share and celebrate your success. If it doesn’t then know you have friends to share that with too. We’ve all been there and seen both sides of the coin. In a nutshell that is what has made this community great over the years, there’s a mutual understanding and respect and an empathy for whichever way it works out.
As the season comes to a close we would like to say a HUGE thank you to everyone who has been a part of the Live Match Chat discussion throughout the campaign. You make each match day come alive with every comment. It’s been a pleasure to watch each game-week unfold from the eyes of dedicated FPL players but also just football fans in general. The discussions that arise can range from the sublime to the ridiculous but are always entertaining regardless!
Unfortunately we don’t have any World Cup or Euros to entertain and keep us busy over the summer but fear not as we will be staying ‘relatively’ active. We will forgive you if you need a break of course but we have a good number of articles in the pipeline already. We have a couple of interviews lined up and then we plan to gear up for next season with some articles featuring the promoted teams as we always do. And if you are playing MLS then Guy will of course be publishing his tips on that as normal every week. However you choose to spend your FPL free summer we wish you all the best, we thank you for spending the season with us and we hope to see you again in August to begin the merry go round all over again!

Awesome season for me, won my main ML’s and finished with better Overall rank than previous season. Kane single handedly fired me to my ML win.

Also I would say this is the Best site FPL site around! I really don’t know how would I win my ML or get a good score without sites info and all the knowledgeable members here. Special thanks to Init, Cookie, GP, Mitro, Elle and many others who write articles week in week out and regularly give advice on this site. The Vokes punt damn!!! I wouldn’t have even thought of it and he scored! Will miss site for few months especially Raz’s rants and Mitro’s RMT!! Can’t thank you guys enough and very happy with my rank and believe it would be a lot worse without this site this is my 3rd season and got to know about this site in my 1st season when it was almost complete and after that for 2 consecutive seasons I have won ML just because of this site

Just wanted to add my thanks for all the hard work done by the team here at ff247 this season! Can’t say it translated into a successful season for me, but in the end we’re all here for the banter and community….and a decent rank is just a bonus right?! Well, here we are. 38 weeks later and raring to go again! It’s been a pleasure and an honor to be part of this community. Shout out to all article writers and comment posters. I’ve read every word! Very happy on the personal front too with a best ever 13k-ish rank and a best ever sgw total of 105 in this last one! What a final day that was. Won the cash league a few weeks back too so the Mrs will be happy given that I normally use it to fund a especial dinner!
That’s what I tell her during the season, that I’m sacrificing myself in the family’s best interest! 
Also, a shout to Mr. RedVT. Incredible and amazing final rank mate. I know many others were high up there too and kudos to them but a 3 digit rank demands specific praise!
Interesting the FPL MAG league too. I got to top 5 and init you were so close! That’s got to be a great league to be in with it being just for the final 9 weeks which are the ones where planning and all most come into the equation! Something to ponder about.
I will not say ‘see you all next season’ and all that for the simple reason that I expect to keep posting on a daily basis such is the cover of this site. MLS, U21 Euro, Scotland and England girls playing summer footie, pre-season uffff it just never stops does it?
