Welcome to Live Match Chat Gameweek 9 FPL News: Bournemouth hosting Spurs gets the game-week going for us, one would expect The Cherries to be done scoring for the season after dropping six on Hull last week That lunch time fixture is followed by six more at 3pm. The Gunners collect 3 points vs Boro, Burnley looks to pad Heaton’s save stats when they face Everton, Hull continues to pretend to be an EPL team when they face Stoke. In other action we see the EPL uncaring Foxes vs Palace, relegation bound Swansea bend over for Watford and West Ham continue climbing the table when they face Sunderland. In Saturday’s closing fixture, Liverpool will tangle with a more offensively inclined side in West Brom than the United side they played last GW.
Sunday sees two games to finish off the game-week. City look to practice their penalties vs Southampton and Chelsea tangle with United in what promises to be a bore fest, when Conte and Mourinho play a defensive chess game and protect their keepers like he is literally the King.

  1. Arsenal like Spurs look shite, fear I capped the wrong man. sad

  2. A bit turgid this GW so far Musa, Shaqiri (Awesome) and Vokes goals and that’s it.

    • You’re not kidding Andy, 10 goals in 7 games and 4 of those were in 1 match!

      • Plenty of CS’s around so far then! Shame I only got 1 :cry-lol:

        • I got 4 plus 1 on one my bench B) :p Could really do with Firmno doing something here as I’m the only one with him out of the top 5 in my ML. Few Liverpool defenders flying around though including one person with a double so come on West Brom as well!

        • Nice score from your defenders init. Pickford was 15 seconds away from giving me 4 out of 4 clean sheets and was in line for BPs too. Unlucky.

  3. Cue the Aguero hatrick! Thank god for my defense this week

    • I was just thinking the exact same! I’ve somehow managed to jump up 64k places without a single goal or assist laugh

  4. Hello gents
It has been a defensive week this
    My team is
    Cech
    Walker Smith Mc Auley
    Antonio Sanchez Sterling Capoue
    Costa Kun Lukaku

    Bench- Jaku Friend Amat Marney

2FT and 0.1mn in the bank

    Sanchez to Wally
    Capoue to Shaqiri
    Antonio to Miller
    For a hit
My first hit this season if I do it. But it’s like I really need it

    Thoughts guys
    Thank you

    • Milner it is

    • Does give you a better all round midfield. Then again Capoue does have Hull this week.

      • Thank you Sir
        smile
So would you just do 2 then? Hold Capoue?
        Plus whom to get in
        Milner or Shaqiri?
        Or
        Others?

        • Shaq out of those but even then I’m not a huge fan of simply chasing last weeks points. Joe Allen being a perfect example. Bradley is no mug and the first thing he’ll have worked on is keeping it tight, probably as evidenced by today. Plus Stoke have only scored 4 at home, only ‘Boro and Hull have less.

        • Guess I’ll need to plan more
          :0

    • Right now the only one I’d do is Antonio to Shaqiri.

  5. Gents,

Kun is going to destroy us all tomorrow

    • How’d your week go mate?

    • Saints have only conceded 4 away in 5 games so hardly whipping boys. Not like we don’t all own him anyway.

  6. Poetry in motion. Thank you Firmino!
