I thought Jones was only being played right back as Giggsy wanted to give his pals Vidic and Ferdi a run out.. And Jones is pretty versatile..
But yes, the Rafael situation is a little disconcerting.
Rafael was the best most improved player last season. Every match he played this season he pretty much sucked though. Wonder if he’s still fav. But since he was in the old squad with Giggs, I say yes. 😛
Do you think Ferdinand will keep his place? I’m a little worried with Giggs in charge, he could keep the back the same or shuffle them around. United defense seems like it may be a bit risky to me in terms of playing time.
The only one that seems nailed on is De Gea.

Thing with Ferdinand is whether he can do 2 games in succession in a short space of time? He may play one and Jones the other in the middle. Vidic is the one that seems nailed on to me.
