MLS Chat Room 2015

wp_ss_20150324_0005“With the Red Bulls nearing a shut out, Keane receives the ball just inside the 18 and plays a neat wall pass with Zardes to put him into the 6, his shot on frame is rejected out of bounds by the goal tender but the referee seems to have blown for a PK to the offense for an alleged double team”…

Welcome to the FF247 MLS Chat Room for the 2015 season. A hidden gem within the site if you will, for those fantasy managers who just love to play whatever games they can get their mitts on and specifically in this case MLS. Most of us started playing fantasy MLS back in 2013 and were soon hooked. The aim of the Chat Room is to allow a space for those that play it to come on and post and chat whatever they want about MLS – be it a traditional RMT, some team news, a helpful link to some relevant information or site, info about the many DGW’s, info about the many blank game weeks, info about the many international call up weeks (!).

Whatever is on your mind that is MLS related you can post in the Chat Room and know that it won’t be lost and confused on the FPL chat boards and you can easily access it at any time by simply clicking on the MLS tab at the top of the FF247 home page.

I already changed the picture! I sent Init an old picture to show him how it would look and told him the nicely touched up one was on the site for him to use and naturally he grabbed the old picture with no cropping. :noshake:

My question to help get the ball rolling is: Is Sjoberg going to continue to keep his place in the team?

Neither do i! This is only my 2nd season playing so i’m in the dark too, mostly. That looks a really good team. Akindele isn’t really nailed on but with Perez on international duty then he’s fine this week i’d imagine. Love the cappo pick. Going with him myself, for what it’s worth. BP merchant. I’d find it tough to choose between Toia and Sjoberg this week. (h) game vs Houston’s horrid attack. Tough call that one.

@Wafflez that is a solid side mate. Akindele should be fine this week as NiN mentioned. I would however do one thing. I would put Lee in the starting lineup and place Toia first on the bench and Sjoberg/Opara second (your choice on that one). If Toia gets a clean sheet then do nothing and let the automatic subs take over and bring in Toia in for Lee for you. But if Toia doesn’t do well then switch your toggle to manual subs and bring in either Sjoberg or Opara depending on who you started and who you left as second sub. in Lee’s place. This is the way to get a second shot at a clean sheet from one of your defenders.
