MLS Chat Room 2015

wp_ss_20150324_0005“With the Red Bulls nearing a shut out, Keane receives the ball just inside the 18 and plays a neat wall pass with Zardes to put him into the 6, his shot on frame is rejected out of bounds by the goal tender but the referee seems to have blown for a PK to the offense for an alleged double team”…

Welcome to the FF247 MLS Chat Room for the 2015 season. A hidden gem within the site if you will, for those fantasy managers who just love to play whatever games they can get their mitts on and specifically in this case MLS. Most of us started playing fantasy MLS back in 2013 and were soon hooked. The aim of the Chat Room is to allow a space for those that play it to come on and post and chat whatever they want about MLS – be it a traditional RMT, some team news, a helpful link to some relevant information or site, info about the many DGW’s, info about the many blank game weeks, info about the many international call up weeks (!).

Whatever is on your mind that is MLS related you can post in the Chat Room and know that it won’t be lost and confused on the FPL chat boards and you can easily access it at any time by simply clicking on the MLS tab at the top of the FF247 home page.

Has there been any word on Martins’ injury? I kinda want to (c) him this week but if he’s a doubt then it’ll be Javi-Mo again. Maybe Shipp/Feilhaber.

For any MLS players. “#MLSFANTASY ALERT: Axel Sjoberg officially listed as out on Rapids injury report. For this owner, that means no subs in Round 5.”

Was going to get Burling in for Dia to strengthen my squad and carry a transfer.

    0.2 and 2FT.

What to do with this lot… Thinking Nguyen&Shipp out for Morales&Finlay. Thoughts?

Sounds reasonable NiN. That or Kamara & Porales in for Shipp & Martins. If you think you have Nguyen at home vs a Crew team on short rest and having travelled from Vancouver to New England sounds more advantageous. Martins has looked a lot better than Nguyen though. But Martins vs LA shouldn’t be easy one would think. Up to you, I think both moves have sound reasoning. Your transfer idea sounds better long term for sure, possibly even better short term. MLS is crazy and terribly hard to predict.

Thanks Mito. I’m pretty tied to Martins this season. Don’t fancy LA to keep Seattle out at all so i think i’ll keep Oba. Crew fixtures look good after the double so i’d like to get one of their attackers in this week. How has Kamara looked? Finlay’s BP potential kinda swings me his way.

        • I don’t think Kamara has looked bad, but last game I watched 2 or 3 times where his mates did not pass him the ball in situations where he would have been left with almost sure goals. I think if any of his mates get their head up he will do well, but the service to him has left a lot to be desired.

Hmm, that doesn’t sound too promising. I think i’ll stick with Finlay and hope for the best. How did you do last GW? I got 80 but haven’t looked at any leagues yet.

        • 80 is a fantastic score! Think I got 71, but I have my team and the site team that I constantly check on so some times I confuse players and scores and forget which is which.

        • NIN says:

Yeah pretty pleased with that total. Morales (c) has been solid for the last 2 GW’s. Just had a look and yeah, you got 71. Yourself and the site team are doing really well
