New FPL Transfers Arsenal Sead Kolasinac and Alexandre Lacazette
Hello and welcome to New FPL Transfers Arsenal Sead Kolasinac and Alexandre Lacazette. Welcome back to a brand-new season of Fantasy Premier League! The Transfer Window has been in full swing since the 1st of July with plenty new faces coming into the league giving us fantasy managers more options to pull our hair out over. In the coming weeks, we will see multiple drafts, probably all from Mitro, containing different combinations of some of these new faces so to make it easier for him and everyone else; below I have written up an analysis of some of those faces. With so much money flooding into the English League in the recent years we are seeing some ridiculous transfers and transfer fees up and down the divisions (Ruben Neves to Wolves for £15 million, anybody?!!!) In the below article we focus on Arsenal’s latest additions. Two players whom Arsenal fans hope can help them back to their promised land and a 4th place finish
Sead Kolasinac
Defender
FPL Price: £6.0m
New season but same old Arsenal!! Wenger is still in the hot seat but only time will tell if Arsenal can turn things around. Old Arsene has started early by bringing in a new left-back but obviously he didn’t let any funds leave the budgeting department by nabbing Sead Kolasinac on the free. Kolasinac is a 24-year-old from Bosnia who has spent the last 5 years at FC Schalke. In that time, he made 123 appearances scoring 4 goals and getting 13 assists. These stats don’t light the world on fire but Kolasinac is versatile and can play centre back, left midfield and defensive midfield. The versatility that Kolasinac offers should be a Godsend to Arsenal, manager and fans alike, as he can slot in whenever the inevitable injury crisis starts. Arsenal’s first six games see matches against Stoke, Bournemouth and West Brom which could be three clean sheets for the new recruit if he does in fact walk straight into the side but with the form Nacho Monreal was in at the end of last season it will be hard to tell what Arsene’s plans are! With Kieran Gibbs gone there is less competition for the Bosnian at left back but it’s still a wait and see in my opinion.
Alexandre Lacazette
Forward
FPL Price: £10.5m
Hold the phone, stop the presses!! That’s right lads and lassies the world as we know it is coming to an end! Arsenal have not only loosened the purse strings but cut them wide open by spending a club record fee of £53 million on Frenchman, Alexandre Lacazette. Lacazette may not have the gorgeous looks of the Frenchman we all know and love to hate, Olivier Giroud, but one would have to assume Lacazette is the younger replacement for Olivier. Lacazette has been linked with the English game for a long time now usually with rumours of a move to Liverpool but as usual they missed out and the highly rated striker decided he wanted a spin on the London Eye. Lacazette arrives with a lot of expectations on his shoulders and it is well deserved as the 26-year-old has played 275 times for OL Lyon scoring 129 times and assisting a further 43 goals which compared to Giroud is a lot better. In Giroud’s time at Arsenal he managed 2 less assists than Lacazette which isn’t bad but Giroud was worse in front of goal only scoring 98 times in 227 appearances. These stats should signify the end of Giroud at the Emirates and with interest coming from within England from Everton and West Ham or his home country, with Marseille and Lyon looking to attain his services Lacazette could find himself leading the Arsenal line in their hopes of returning to their throne, 4th place!

The Fixture Tracker…
Two questions here lads,
1. Azpi and Gayle or Alonso and J.Rod?
2. Morata and Sane or Jesus and Pedro?
Currently have Alonso, J Rod, Morata and Sane in my own team.
That’s the way I’m leaning anyway.
I think you have to have Alonso, he bagged another 2 goals today.
One?
Only scored one.
My mistake, but still, one a game would do!
Of course it would! Haha
One a month would be ample haha
This is tough as Alonso is way worth the extra. Don’t get the J Rod hype he’s not even been playing as the striker Rondon has. Coin toss on the other one. Pedro is going to have to wear a mask so I can see his form dropping because of this
He doesn’t even need to pay upfront. At £6m he is great value. Injury has hampered what could have been a very successful career.
This is what I was about to say. I’m a bit wary about him bring at WBA though.
The major caveat. Willing to take a punt given the fixtures, at the moment 😉
Yeah fixtures is the main draw.
I’d rather take Matt Phillips instead who’s playing on the other flank but is a midfielder. But hey we will find out in next few weeks
Rodriguez is a better player in my opinion. But yeah, we will!
Anyone know anything about Tommy Smith of Huddersfield?
Just looking and he got 4 goals and 10 assists last season.

Take a look at Brooky’s new article mate. He did indeed, but I’ll be waiting before bringing any of their boys in.
Cheers, i’ll check it out
Starting to wreck my head this now. Currently looking at this.
Looks decent apart from Martina. I don’t think he will play.
Martina will play till Coleman is back.
Really? I would have rated Holgate ahead of him. Plus there are talks saying Coleman could be back around GW 7 which up until that point Everton have terrible fixtures.
He might but Holgate is still around. Do you think he might go 3 at the back
Looks decent. Look out for PVA. I know it’s friendlies but Schlupp might be preferred
