New Signings – Fantasy Premier League 2015/16. Mings, Distin, Atsu
***FREE BOOZE**** ***SEX THINGS*** ***CASH GIVEAWAY***
Right, quick, lock the doors Mito!
Ok, now that I have your attention and the Colombian Mafia have the exits covered, I can tell you that this isn’t going to be the most exciting list of new arrivals you’re ever going to read. Sometimes life just deals you a rubbish hand. Sometimes you get the shitty end of the stick. And sometimes, you accidently park your car in Cookie’s space on the same day as he’s deciding who gets to write up which new players.
So then, let’s see what you make of this lot…
The Bournemouth Three. Mings, Distin and Atsu (Bless you!)

[/three_fourth]Tyrone Mings (Bournemouth) Not content with a league leading number of clean sheets last season, Eddie Howe has looked to strengthen his back line with record signing, £8m Tyrone Mings from Ipswich Town.
The 22 year old, ex-mortgage adviser, scored 1 goal and provided 4 assists in 40 starts for the Tractor Boys last season, and his signing will almost certainly mean Charlie Daniels loses his place as the regular starting left back.
If the vast amount of research I have done for this article is to be believed, he stands at a cloud-bothering 6ft 5ins tall, so as well as providing from the wings, he should also represent a decent threat from set pieces.
Fantasy view: As a record signing, he’ll be looking to impress. Along with opposite full back Francis and centre back Cook, he’s a contender for that important 5th defender slot.

Sylvain Distin (Bournemouth)

Not content with a league leading number of clean sheets last season, Eddie Howe has… shamelessly used the same intro twice in a row.
As well as providing cover / rotation for regular centre back pairing Cook and Elphick, I expect that 37 year old Distin’s signing is as much about providing the squad with some valuable Premiership experience. Especially after their previous resident old man Ian Harte was released earlier this summer.
Distin only made 16 appearances for Everton last season, before leaving when his contract expired, so don’t expect a huge number of appearances. This is his second spell on the south coast after a 2 year stay at Portsmouth. Rumour has it that he’s working his way along the coast to Southampton in order to secure a guaranteed move to Liverpool in 2016.
Fantasy view: Only an option if he can secure a regular starting spot.

Christian Atsu (Bless you!! Here, have a tissue. Thanks. Here you go. No no, you keep it.) (Bournemouth)

The third of our Bournemouth three, is Chelsea winger Christian Atsu, (Bless you!!! Thanks. Sorry, the hay fever is really bad this year. Yeah, it really is. Eyes itching? Yeah, a little. That’s rough. So how’ve you been? Not bad, other than the hay fever. Family keeping well? The cat died, but other than that, we’re good. Thanks for asking) signed on a season-long loan.
The 23 year old Ghana international spent last season on loan at Everton, making just 5 Premiership appearances (mainly coming on for the last 5 minutes) and only 1 start. He also didn’t feature at all for the last 2 months of last season.
He’ll be hoping for more opportunities this time out, and his competition for a starting place will be considerably less than it was at Everton. He has a decent international pedigree – an international with over 30 caps, including runner-up at the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations, in which he also won Player (and goal) of the tournament.
Fantasy view – Possible 5th Mid / bench fodder if cheap. Monitor in pre-season.
Sh*t-joke-potential – Awesome. Starting XI and captain every week.

New Fixture Tracker added!
And whilst we have you, may we just bring your attention to the new fixture tracker that has been added. Last week we launched the Home & Away rotation tracker and both beauties can be found under the ‘Tips’ tab at the top and then under, unsurprisingly, ‘Fixture Tracker’ If that all sounds like too much hard work then here’s a quick link and also a picture of the dam thing if you’re uber lazy!…
Both have proved a massive hit on twitter. We hope you like them too.

#afcb XI to take on @PhilaUnion: Boruc, Smith, Elphick, Distin, Daniels, Stanislas, Gosling, Surman, Ritchie, King, Wilson.
 Teks
Cheers Teks. So no Mings or Cook.
i think i’m ready… not really but for tonight. RMT please :)))
Hi Tique,
I like your forward line, it’s probably one of the modt popular combinations for this season.
Most of your mids are popular too, but this is the first team with Wilshere I’ve sern so far. Actually had to look his stats up, he’s 6mill and got 36 points last season…
But what worries me the most is that you have 4 defenders who are new to the league/team in one form or another.
i feel like wilshere is going to be the new ramsey. he scored three amazing goals at the end of last season with arsenal and england.
You make a great point about my defenders. I’ll try to fix it up and repost my team. thanks so much for your feedback!
Can you suggest any defenders?
let me know if you think this line up of defenders is better. had to sacrifice ivanovic
Not really a fan of this team if ime honest. You have a good forward line, but its left your midfield pretty week. Wilshire will do naff all and is a waste of money. You could wanyama for 4.5m and probably still gain points. Also, your defence is very thin also. Its very hard this season and i think the way to go is you can only have one of Aguero, Costa, or Kane to keep a well balanced squad.
I know it’s early days, but I just wanted to know what the weak spots are for this team.
Feel free to help out
Like i said above, nice forward line but your weakining other areas.
Hey guys,
nice to see you all back here, can´t wait for the 8th of august.
Thoughts about Shelvey and Adam?
Hey Mag how are we I would rather have Waters or Odemwingle if he can retain a place In starting line up also rather Ki Sung Rotation not to bad but you could do with better if 4/5th MF
Which team is better? On team A I’d downgrade Silva to Sterling and use the extra mil to upgrade defence and GK.
Or B?
I like your Team A better, even if both teams’ defense needs one Chelsea cover at least, based on last year’s results and points. I like the forward line which is similar to mine, but there may be better options than Benteke, I don’t know. Your midfield looks solid in A as well. Would you consider downgrading Ki by 0.5 to sit on the bench and upgrading one of your two keepers?
Ye bit disappointed that there’s no Chelsea defensive cover it’s just they are very dear.
Still hoping Benteke will go to Liverpool other than that I’m not sure who to get after him at 8.5?
I really like the Leicester and Swansea rotation so I’m not sure I would plus there isn’t anybody at 5 mil that is any good I think. What do you think about the downgrading of Silva to Sterling though because that would raise 1 mil?
Silva to Sterling is a good option. Personally, the only players I would pick at the moment are Silva, YYT and Aguero (yes, even with his orange tag). Leicester rotates well with Chelsea and Southampton also so maybe consider one more player from there – Ward-Prowse? If all else fails, SIlver to Sterling and 1 million for a little defensive upgrade. Good luck
Cheers Punk ill have a think and decide better when I see more preseason games
I’d take Henderson over Milner all day.
Usually so would I but until I know how Liverpool are going to play I think Milner will be the offensive player with Hendo and Can playing defensive mids. Luckily their the same price so it’s a straight swap.
Henderson will outscore Milner. He could even be on pens.
Right now, there little to choose between Henderson & Milner.
Ye right now it’s just pick one and see how preseason goes to make the final decision and see how the team linesup
I think Hendersonis the safer option tho.
How do they normally line up for England when they both play, maybe we can use that as an early indicator, I’m not too sure but isn’t it Milner who’s shunted out wider in favor of Hendo.
He’s no safer than Milner as I expect them both to play more often than not.
Andy I think Milner was shunted out wide for England because that’s where he was playing for City so Hodgson just left him there.
Well considering Henderson is Captain id favour him. Plus, he grabbed 2 assists yesterday, he could be on pens, and Rodgers has challanged him to double figures goals this season. So i expect more from him.
Milner is probably a better penalty taker than Henderson! Not saying he’ll take them but it’s certainly a possibility.
Ye sure looks like we’ll just have to wait and see.
