Pottys Fantasy World Cup Finals

Pottys Fantasy World Cup Finals

Pottys Fantasy World Cup FinalsSo on Sunday night we reach the ultimate end to the greatest football show on earth, the World Cup Final. Well what seems an eternity ago on Thursday the 12th of June, myself and 63 of you started out on a journey in two competitions that were The Perfect 32 & The Dodgy 32 with one goal – to become the Champion of The World. Along the way we have had everything from McDonalds site glitches, managers failing to make H2H deadlines, e-mails from individual’s behind the scene’s begging for another chance after being eliminated, and so much more in Potty’s World.
But now we have 5 Finals on our hands that all individually offer so much, so below is my take on the upcoming finals, enjoy.
Next to each H2H match is the Unique Code to create your World Cup Final.

The Perfect 32

Zzkarimzz v Quallathon (finalgame1)

So in our main Competition we have a quality H2H in store.
Zzkarimzz aka The B is building up a nice head of steam as in his last 3 fixtures his scores have improved each time and as you can see (113/115/125) he is clearly in form and is German like in his progress throughout his route to the final.
Quallathon, a strange one this as his team gained entry into The Perfect 32 by means of the competitions reserve list but he has not let anyone down, and in the Quarter Final round alone he bagged 137pts so he certainly knows his stuff.

The Dodgy 32

Serendipity v The Dreamers (finalgame2)

Managed by a lady the outfit of Serendipity is a class act, in Sarah’s 3 H2H tear-ups her teams points total was 356pts which is remarkable and makes her the clear favourite in this Final?
But The Dreamers will think differently on this front, all the Dreamers captain picks have been the pivotal factor in him reaching the Final and along the way he has removed FF247 & Steve Cook, both were major scalp’s to give The Dreamers bundles of confidence for Sunday.

The Nearly Ones

Inittowinit v Elleffcee (finalgame3)

This is the clash of the North-West as two resident site cowboys lock horns, Inittowinit is like an annoying skin rash as just when you think its gone, it’s bloody back, but one thing is for sure he will be doing hours of research in his dream of lifting this trophy.
As for Elleffcee his recovery from his Round 1 formation mistake and what seemed like throwing in the towel along with his toys out of the pram has been monumental. He now finds himself in this final which has so much at stake for both managers, form wise there is very little in it so Pottys Bookie’s have both at 4/7 to be the winner.

The Also Rans (finalgame4)

Josh 721 v Kop Warriors

This tie is a beauty as its young v old, Josh will want this badly and his recent cluster of points which are 100/125/138 show he has momentum in his favour.
But up pops Kop Warrior and his war hardened outfit, will his tactical awareness see him through? I think it may and if so a small part of the Emerald Isle will have a huge party, to be sure to be sure.

Lose Again, Simples (finalgame5)

Bigpopz v Mutley

The banter Brother’s clash in a mammoth final.
Mutley is a very astute manager and knows all the tricks needed to win this one, he even won his Quarter Final tie with only 96pts to his name and this shows he truly is a dark horse.
But Bigpopz has probably surprised himself by getting this far and I expect him to offer Mutley a huge battle as both manager’s won their respective Semi-Finals with the same score of 133pts.
Expect fireworks!

Pottys Fantasy World Cup FinalsSo that’s it from Potty.
The World Cup has been so much fun and these Competitions have added to it, when I planned all this I never knew how big it would become and that’s all down to YOU.
Thanks,
Big Hugs,
Potty

Thanks for reading Pottys Fantasy World Cup Finals – Good luck everyone!

    NIN says:

Kop – I think Pedro/ Tello would be excellent replacements for Nibbles. Tello is majorly underused by Barcelona, for me. He’s an absolute rocket and has a decent amount of strength to him as well. Pedro first, if that fails then Tello.

Aaah yes, not too worry United fans too much. But I think RvP has been shite again this worldcup. Not that he had much to deal with. Another bad thing is that there seems to be no chemistry between him, Robben and Sneijder. Really don’t think he will do well this season. We’ll see if van Gaal can work miracles, I doubt it.

Thanks for doing all this Potty!! It’s been a lot of fun. I just realized I don’t even have to change my team around that much since all of the same players are involved still haha.

New Southampton head coach Ronald Koeman has been discussing the impending transfer of striker Graziano Pelle to Saints from Feyenoord.

Pelle is close but it’s still not signed. We’re getting closer together and we hope maybe this weekend to have him as the second new signing.

Afternoon guys, hope we’re all doing well? Excited about FPL already now that we can register laugh

And, on a slightly disappointing side-note, how the hell am I still top of the T20 leagues after I forgot to make any transfers the previous 2 GWs?! For shame people, pull your fingers out! 😉

Quallathon, good luck for the finals, you need it. B)
