Pottys Punters Weekly Review!!!
And what a week it was!
Saturday morning saw 62 punters in my bookies clutching their Score Predictions slips and after all 4 matches were completed we have 12 of you who got 1 prediction correct and each now have 3 points to their name and are up and running with a slot on the Potty’s Predictions League Table (this will be published on Thursday 5th December which will include GW13 results).
The Dirty Dozen are = Bigpopz, Drexl, Chopper, Jasprit, Sharmagisms, Desmo, Floydeth, Andy, Sanchez, NIN, Ronaldo and Bunnies.
The Pottys Bookies opening Launch Party went well. With DJ Raz on the Decks and Bench on bar duty it was always going to end up messy, but the highlight of it all was Mito dancing in his Potted Ankle to that dancefloor filler “I’m Jake the Peg, diddlediddlediddledum”.
The overall winner of the prize for GW12 was decided by a tie-breaker that was played on Wednesday night and I am delighted to announce that the winner was ……. NIN………..

I got a decent response from Mito when i posted this before, but in still not sure what to do. My team is:
Mignolet Vorm
Coleman Lovren Dawson Zabaleta Baker
Ramsey Ozil R.Morrison Brady Oscar
Lukaku Suarez Aguero
1 FT and 0.3 in the bank. The problems I think I’ve identified are:
1) Wenger said he’ll rotate his squad for the next 3 GWs, so Ozil and Ramsey could be rested
2) Baker is going to lose his place, since Luna is back from injury
3) I don’t have any United coverage

So what you’re saying is that you don’t agree with the advice Mito gave you!!!
If they are your worries the solutions seem obvious…
sell Ozil for Walcott,
sell Baker for Evans..

Veer. Happy to help. What do ya reckon about these tips?
1. That could be a problem anywhere you turn in particular on the bigger teams who have quality players on the bench.
2. Let him rot on the bench, no need to waste a transfer on him for now, in particular with the tight fixture schedule, you might have a bigger problem arise.
3. Many don’t. No mids worth having it would require I least two moves to bring in Rooney for Lukaku, probably dropping Ozil for Cabaye/ Sess. Best route could be to pick up a defender, possibly Evans for Dawson/ Lovren/Seamus for him. Saints have the toughest schedule, but I imagine that Lovren also has the most value built up.

Thanks for the help guys. I can’t afford to do Ozil >> Walcott and Baker >> Evra. I can either do Ozil >> Walcott and Baker >> Ferdinand (doesn’t look nailed on), or Ozil >> Walcott and Lovren >> Evra. I know option 2 looks better, but i don’t want to get rid of my only southampton coverage. What do you think? :gunman:

Sorry Cookie, i read Evra instead of Evans in your above comment. I see Evans has been starting recently. Is that because somebody is injured? Or has Moyes just decided to play him?
Veer, if I spend the time to think of and write out a sensible reply to your above query, will you promise you don’t ask, ask, ask and then re-ask the same question up until the deadline ?
Vidic has been out with concussion recently. Although Evans has played 4.5 out of the past 5 games, so it’s hard to say who’d make way for the Serbian.
Is Ferdinand nailed on for United? I’ve seen lately that he’s not been playing, he just started the last match.
