FPL Team News and Predicted Line-ups Gameweek 6

If you can’t do something properly… get someone else to do it!

We are back as ever with our predicted line-ups in conjunction with / courtesy of Drafthound. The usual warnings apply here: please take this as their / our best guess as to the line-ups, but it will never ever be 100% accurate, such is the nature of attempting to do so.

Two things to bear in mind;

  • We trust Drafthound. They will have done their research into all this, especially given what they do, just as we used to, but these things are a ‘best guess’ exercise at best. Usual leeway should be accounted for, etc.
  • Given their time and effort in providing this content for us it would be rude not to occasionally click on the Drafthound link and check out their own fabulous content as there are FPL articles aplenty on there too.

  1. Is this good to go?

    • I’d be tempted to play Tierney over Livra/Marcal. If you look at the stats in the article, Arsenal has higher odds for win & CS over both wolves and Soton

      • Cheers – not much faith in your team’s scoring abilities? laugh Only concern is the double up vs Kane and Son, that easily becomes a grim experiencesmile

        • We’re bottom of the league in terms of chance creation. Stats don’t lie, Team needs time still to gel

      • Yeah I’d play Tierney

    • I think it looks ok but I agree more or less with coys9’s comment (I’d bench the Wolves’ defender in this instance). However Tierney could mean an Arsenal defensive double, which I may pause over. Could work out well, however.

      • Thanks Kralin! Yes, I’m a bit of a chicken when it comes to double up at the back smile

        • I like defensive doubles but I may be tempted to give it a spin outside of a North London derby.

    • Captain Salah! Nice one, going with Ronny meself.

I have the same view as @coys9. I think Tierney better option to play than Marcal.

      • When in doubt cap’n Mo Salah wink

Yes, saw your side and have to admit I’m somewhat jealoussmile

  2. Hey guys, I have 1FT 0itb. I suppose roll the transfer? How’s bench order? Am I gtg?

    • Yeah, just crack on with that. I’d perhaps move Brownhill up the bench a bit.

    • Maybe White ahead of Reguilon. Spurs has conceded 10 goals in last 4 games.

      • The blind faith might cause me to stick with Reguilon

    • I think that’s fine – there’s a reasonable chance White will come in anyway (if Raphinha’s new hip isn’t fully firing).

    • Looks good to me, that extra FT will come in handy next week good

  3. hey guys.

    Guaita
    shaw, taa, periera, semedo
    salah, townsend, sarr
    vardy, antonio, ronaldo

    forster, duffy, gallgher, mendy

my current wc team line up.
    1. will u change anyone?
    2. will u change lineup / formation?

Thanks in advance. appreciate ur thoughts

    • What’s your rationale behind having so many Leicester players?

On a WC I wouldn’t bring in an injured player.

      • i feel leicester will cs n score big. periera gives gd assist as well. vardy reliable n ez to go to lkk if needed.
or shud i prep a chelsea def for next week?
i had to burned a bench slot for 3/4 premium team

  4. Bamford replacement: What about King? otherwise Jim, ASM, Dennis are there.

    • I had no idea.

Took advice from the site team brains trust. Went with StMax

    • I went with Ronaldo. Was thinking Adams but Ronaldo’s ownership spooked me.

Dennis ok in a 3/5/2 to give flexibility to a 3/4/3 if needed but he may be a transfer regretted. ASM and Jiminez – may as well add Rondon to this pile though of course Rondon would be a very short term type of pick – the sort of move safest to make when one knows a wildcard will shortly follow. Forgotten man Ings always a possibility, unloved but usually pretty reliable.

  5. Would anyone else wc this team next week? I want more Chelsea.

  6. Am I gtg?
