A case (again) for the defence!
You know when your goalkeeper follows up a penalty save the previous week with an assist this, that you are on a bit of a run eh?
Ben Foster (5) has been an unexpected little gem of late and he doesn’t even need clean sheets! Ahead of him, well the golden triumvirate of – in ascending numerical order to build both suspense and grandeur – Joao Cancelo (12), Antonio Rudiger (14) and Trent Alexander-Arnold (15) continue to lead the way, showing up those big fancy expensive attackers (Salah, apart obviously) how it is done.
Our only slight regret is that we don’t have four or five of them back there!

The aforementioned Salah, of course, double-digited with his 16 points (captain) and aside from Ivan Toney (6) bagging a relatively disappointing one goal involvement (in his sides three on the day) the rest were a pile of puke 2s.
Our 78 points for the week took us to 98,485 overall as the upwardly-mobile FF247 boys notched their fourth consecutive green arrow.

We arrive at Gameweek 13 with 1 Free Transfer and 0.8mln in the bank and in good shape to save. Then we noticed two things:
1. We had two West Ham players – pushing our luck a bit this far into the season AND with a trip to City on Sunday
and;
2. We didn’t have Conor Gallagher
To confirm then we have SOLD SAID BENRAHMA and BOUGHT CONOR GALLAGHER
Captain – MOHAMED SALAH
Obviously.
Harry Kane will take it if something happens with the Egyptian King.

I braved captaining Kane last week and it bit me in the ass. I’m not sure I can do it again. Let’s see if these pints change my mind later.
ODT, bravery and consistency always pays off. Going captain Salah with his customary goal will keep you floating where you are. Taking a punt with Kane and potentially a brace (a hatty not impossible) will catapult you miles ahead

I have got 1.3 m itb and 0 ft.
Wondering who to replace Chilwell with? Should I get Cancelo, James , Reguilón or just avoid the hit ?
Think you need a plan to improve your defence. . TAA, Cancelo, James, Alonso in that order. Whichever two you can afford
Hi Smash, can afford all except TAA.
Have you WC’d yet? I’m suspecting perhaps not. Might be worth considering just to get all those who Smash mentioned as they really are racking the points up between them. I played mine last week to essentially do just that, and tidy up a few other bits along the way, and I’m glad I did now.
I still have the WC tucked in somewhere waiting to be deployed.
Does WC need to used before December?
In that case I’d WC and redistribute those funds
Salah have ruiner fpl a bit… Would be fun to have to ”pick” a captain again.
He’s ruined the Captains article too! Poor Matt tried his best this week but if he carries on as is we’ll just have to wait until he goes off to the AFCON in Jan. Salah that is, not Matt.
I quite like not having the decision to make personally. However I find it hard to believe another bug hitter does not come to the table soon. Just a matter of time

While more City coverage sounds good in principle, you run the risk of more Pep roulette.

Brought James in before his price rise, will roll with this defence for a bit and see. Might downgrade Rudi in a few weeks. Bench Toney or Antonio?
I would bench Rudiger, personally. You’ve already got James coverage. 1 United goal and that’s 2 CS gone
I’d keep it as it is myself.
I’m going to be greedy and ask two questions…
1. Is Foden to Bilva worth a hit? It quite nicely frees up enough funds for Walker to Cancelo another week.
2. Should I be playing Antonio? And if so, who for?

I do like BSilva, think I’m getting him in instead of Jota myself just because he’d be a nice differential and all of my other mids are so highly owned, plus BSilva seems to be favored by Pep at the moment…
