FPL Team Gameweek 6
Welcome to FPL Team Gameweek 6
Sticky plaster
Well Gameweek 5 is in the books and the lads at FF247 have secured yet another green arrow (easy this lark) as we score 19 points above the average score and a weekly total of 74 points, which we are obviously delighted with.
We have a few mentions here but it goes without saying that first up is Captain Fantastic Salah with 24 points. Lit! Said Benrahma (10), Raphinha (8), Ben White (7), Ronaldo (6) and Patrick Bamford (5) all pulled their weight to varying degrees.
Our next best scorer was The Greek Scouser Tsimikas who climbed off the bench – ONE OF THREE AUTOSUBS – to provide us 5 points. Legend in the making him.
The rest were just 2s and 3s but the three autosubs thing, whilst unusual and humourous, is probably a forewarning to the troubles ahead!
Our Gameweek 5 Result…
Let’s go see what was decided…
Our Gameweek 6 Transfer(s)
We are looking to activate our Wildcard ahead of Gameweek 7 due to the enormity of the task at hand – having more flags than the United Nations is prime territory for the WC – but we fancy doing it when we might go for three Chelsea players once their City game is out of the way. Therefore, with us knowing that Bamford is definitely out, we are on the prowl for a one-week punt.
Maupay was mentioned but with a red card looming over him at all times (he’s the biggest sh*thouse in the league by the way – watch him), we’ve decided to have a French Fancy. Allan Saint-Maximin carries Newcastle’s hopes at Watford and he’ll do us.
To confirm then we have SOLD PATRICK BAMFORD and BOUGHT ALAIN SAINT-MAXIMIN
Captain – CRISTIANO RONALDO
It was always going to be either CR7 or MS11 (?) and we’ve gone with the home fixture as much as anything. And in any event Ronaldo seems to always play (except the daft cups) and always score; so we’re expectiing at least a goal. With Tuanzebe unavailable due to facing his parent club, Villa will have a new defensive player and or a new defensive formation so either way, there’s disruption there.
Anything goes wrong and we drop onto Mo Salah which can never be a bad thing.

***NEW ARTICLE – FF247 SITE TEAM GW6***
GW5 went ok and now we are looking to limp over the line of GW6 before going in for repairs.
Newcastle
Recent news flashes report flocks of vultures hovering over St James Park (oops – the match is at Watford) and Elland Rd!
But…it’s when we think it’s going to be a bloodbath, that these matches turn out to be close affairs – Watford and West Ham would be advised not to take things too lightly in my opinion (partly for selfish reasons, so that a couple of my FPL assets score highly!). See you anon people!
If the site team had started Antonio (suspended) you could have had the rare event of all 4 autosubs
Great point.
Thoughts on Raphinha to Sarr? I’m probably wildcarding next week.
1 FT £0.6 ITB
Team didn’t attach
I’m considering exactly the same move, but with 2FT so I have to do something.
If you’re sure about the WC then I’d go for it
I’m not too sure tbh. I think my team is in decent shape, just needs some Chelsea. If Raphinha expected not to l play I’ll move him on.
1ft and 1.0itb do I replace Bamford or Torres and who would be the best replacements for either?
Bamford to ASM if you’re wildcarding soon. Or Bamford to Denis and you could look at upgrading one of your midfield benchers after the international break.
Bamford. Torres could play or at least get some minutes.
Cheers guys don’t plan on using my WC just yet so will go Bamford to Dennis
For a 1 week punt what about Rondon? Also what about Antonio captain over CR7? Leeds are really short at the back and have conceded the most chances from the middle which shouts Antonio maybe
Yes, I’m going to have a shot at cappo Antonio
