Suspension Report Gameweek 12

The Suspension Report gives a detailed rundown of those players that are suspended for the forthcoming game-week and how long they will be unavailable for. The report also shows which players are close to a suspension due to their accumulation of yellow cards, thus helping fantasy managers in their forthcoming transfer plans.

CattermoleLee Cattermole and Andrea Dossena both received 3 match suspensions for their red cards in the game against Hull in GW10. The first game of their suspension was served in the Capital One Cup however, meaning they will miss just the 2 league games; last week’s GW11 and this week’s GW12.

Sascha Riether stamped on him.Arsenal’s defeat at Manchester United saw Mathieu Flamini pick up his 5th yellow card of the season in the match at Old Trafford – he will now sit out the Gunner’s GW12 fixture at home against Southampton. Earlier in the same day Newcastle defender Mathieu Debouchy also picked up his 5th yellow card of the season, in their 1-0 win over Tottenham at White Hart Lane and he will now miss Newcastle’s next fixture at home to Norwich.

Sascha Riether of Fulham was charged by the F.A. following an incident involving Adnan Januzaj in the match at Craven Cottage against Manchester United in GW10. Reither accepted the charge and a 3 match suspension was the resulting penalty. So far the defender has missed the GW11 fixture, the remaining 2 matches of the suspension will be served in GW12 and GW13.

Any player who picks up 5 yellow cards prior to 1st January will serve an automatic 1 match suspension, The following players all have 4 yellow cards to their name, meaning, if they collect just 1 more, they will receive an automatic 1 match suspension. Worth a quick check on the list, before you make your transfers, especially later in the season when the suspensions become 2 or 3 games.
