Fantasy Football Suspension Report

Suspension Report Gameweek 12

The Suspension Report gives a detailed rundown of those players that are suspended for the forthcoming game-week and how long they will be unavailable for. The report also shows which players are close to a suspension due to their accumulation of yellow cards, thus helping fantasy managers in their forthcoming transfer plans.

CattermoleLee Cattermole and Andrea Dossena both received 3 match suspensions for their red cards in the game against Hull in GW10. The first game of their suspension was served in the Capital One Cup however, meaning they will miss just the 2 league games; last week’s GW11 and this week’s GW12.

Sascha Riether stamped on him.Arsenal’s defeat at Manchester United saw Mathieu Flamini pick up his 5th yellow card of the season in the match at Old Trafford – he will now sit out the Gunner’s GW12 fixture at home against Southampton. Earlier in the same day Newcastle defender Mathieu Debouchy also picked up his 5th yellow card of the season, in their 1-0 win over Tottenham at White Hart Lane and he will now miss Newcastle’s next fixture at home to Norwich.

Sascha Riether of Fulham was charged by the F.A. following an incident involving Adnan Januzaj in the match at Craven Cottage against Manchester United in GW10. Reither accepted the charge and a 3 match suspension was the resulting penalty. So far the defender has missed the GW11 fixture, the remaining 2 matches of the suspension will be served in GW12 and GW13.

Any player who picks up 5 yellow cards prior to 1st January will serve an automatic 1 match suspension, The following players all have 4 yellow cards to their name, meaning, if they collect just 1 more, they will receive an automatic 1 match suspension. Worth a quick check on the list, before you make your transfers, especially later in the season when the suspensions become 2 or 3 games.

Shouldn’t you have a special category for players who can go nuts and bite someone, therefore causing an immediate suspension? :cuckoo:

It’s assumed that if your clever enough to turn on a computer and play this game, then you are aware of the nutters in this world :whatever:

Hey lads now the pleasantary’s are out of the way how about some advice ? smile

Team is linked. Now was thinking of being sensible this week and holding my transfer, then next gw swapping vidic for vlaar/baker and barkley for sessegnon but am getting the urge to take a -4 this week and do ozil to sess and lukaku to rooney. Then next gw do another -4 and swap vidic to baker and barkley to ramsey ?

What do you guys think ? Has the international break sent me crazy ???

I hear you brookyboy – am thinking along similar lines meself. -4 for remy and Morrison in and Sigurdsson Lukaku out. Swiftly followed next week for Zabaletta Nolan out and Walcott Baker in for another -4. Next up remy swap for Rooney. If your squad needs repair I reckon no more than -4 per week for a couple of weeks max is warranted. Not having a key player accruing massive points hurts a lot more than -4 Rooney will be key for the Xmas period imo

      • WhoIsRonaldo says:

I would be wary of buying in a player on 4 yc’s Titleastic and buying and selling Remy within couple weeks seems like points wasted … every 4 points counts and no point having suspended players during christmas period when rotation rears its ugly head

        • Titleastic says:

Hm potentially wise words. Something is telling me newcastle might go goal crazy next few weeks and I want in on that. I might gamble on Remy scoring at least 4 points more than Lukaku… But maybe not. Still undecided.

        • WhoIsRonaldo says:

I’m not saying don’t buy him, Remy is a good buy and between him and Lukaku he is the form player just don’t waste points buying and selling same player imo

Btw I would probably support -4 for the transfers highlighted ( more convinced about rooney than Ramsey for up coming 5/6 weeks)

      • brookyboy says:

Hmmmm was thinking ramsey as i want arsenal coverage and want shut of barkley.Rooney looks on fire at the mo and utd have some tasty fixtures coming up in a few weeks which i fancy cashing in on.Deffo something to chew over the next few days.
