Just come up with wildcard team for GW 24:

    Boruc | AdriĂĄn

    Sagna | Dawson | Baines | Chester | Ward

    Oscar | Silva | Ramsey | Eriksen | Mutch

    SuĂĄrez | AgĂźero | Carroll

    What do you guys think?

      Ant14 says:

I’d rather have Hazard over Oscar if you have the cash.

      • jamesimmo says:

Sadly not. It was a. Is take to get rid of him for Oscar earlier on. Other than that, what do you think, fairly well rounded team?

Not sure about Adrian, is he nailed on? I feel Jask could turn at any time. More or less the same issue with Mutch, Cardiff will be a major doubt these next games. I saw the game between Spurs and Palace and they have been quite fortunate to have not conceded a few goals, Palace had really good chances besides the penalty kick.

      • jamesimmo says:

Albertini – thanks, though I will only have 4.3m to spend on a 2nd keeper so Adrian was the best bet, I’ll play Boruc most if the time. Maybe I should just get a non-playing 4.0m keeper and save a few pennies? Mutch, again, is a bench player: only if West Ham (Carroll) had a bad game would I play him… but regardless, do you have any preferences for 4.5m in midfield?

        • Albertini says:

I was to suggest Mannone but now I see he’s at 4.4, so maybe Adrian is a good shout. My 5th mid is Pozuelo who is only 4.2 and is getting good game time lately but he might be out when all Swansea players that are injured return.

        • jamesimmo says:

If I downgrade Mutch to El Ahamadhi or Pozuelo I could have McGregor or Mannone, which may we worth while, thanks mate

        • Albertini says:

No worries mate. Yes, you could save up to 0.4 and also Mutch is still flagged. He’s a good player and fairly cheap but if it to be benched most of the games I’d rather have a better gk. I have Mannone and Boruc, actually they don’t rotate but when Boruc has the hardest fixtures Mannone has some better ones.

        • jamesimmo says:

Cheers mate, so I noticed – also, having Manonne would leave me with just enough for Parker, who almost perfectly rotates with Carroll. This is all turning out very smooth haha! With any luck Ramsey will drop again, saving me a little more cash. Thanks again

      The B says:

      Like the team. Strong defence.

Also you have a couple of GWs to assess how Carrol does. Nolan will also be back on GW23 which would improve Carrol’s prospects.

      Elmer Fudd says:

Hey james, how about Borucs understudy for your reserve goalie? At 3.9m I doubt you’ll get any cheaper plus in theory if one doesn’t play the other will. I know both were injured before but what’s the likelihood of it happening again?

      • jamesimmo says:

Hey Elmer, hmm that’s worth considering, if I need a tad more spare cash to fund this in 2 weeks time I’ll know what to do! Thanks

Who should I’ve start KI or Lallana ?

    Adrian
    Sagna – Zabaleta – Ward
    Silva – Gerrard – Hazard – Lallana
    Hooper – Suarez – Negredo

    Bench : Mannone – Cahill – Chester – KI

      The B says:

Dude im fed up of your reposts. Anyway.

Wouldnt take Adrian with a cheap GK cause he is unreliable and rotation risk.
Doubtful over Cahill too since Luiz is started to being introduced in the squad. Only Terry and Cole for me.
Rest of the squad is pretty good. Like Hooper there as your 3rd striker when everyone is going for JayRod.

      • JEET TOP 4 says:

First of all Luis is be use as a midfielder under mourinho the only reason why cole is started games is because Ivanovic is injured and I’ve brought in Cahill because they play West Ham after United and like I’ve said before am taking a 2 games punt on Hooper and J.Rod didn’t score at home against West Brom that doesn’t fill me with Optimize away to inform Sunderland Team.

I Agree with you Adrian is a Rotation Risk but easy fixtures a head he’s cheap and could be a worthwhile punt. P.S if your fed up with my reposts then don’t REPLY !! Mate ..

        • jamesimmo says:

Jeet – sorry but I think you’ve been a bit out of order there mate, B has kindly taken his time to offer you advise despite this, so perhaps you should be more grateful.

I also replied to one of your other earlier, yes, reposts, and you didn’t reply to that, which makes me wonder why I bother if you either ignore our responses or even go as far to tell The B here to not reply. Just thought that had to be said, mate..

        • JEET TOP 4 says:

I’ve Appreciate everyone advised mate but sometime I’ve feel know one is replying to my post sorry didn’t reply to your post but I was probably babysitting with a crying baby in my arms it hard to replay to everyone anyway just wanted to say sorry to The B had a terrible week PTS wise so I need as much help as can get !!

        • The B says:

Thanks james. I guess just a misunderstanding here.

        • jamesimmo says:

Welcome. It’s fine Jeet, I understand, we’re here to help afterall.

        • The B says:

Jeet not sure how you took my advice there, but i dont know how defence of Chelsea will shape up after Ivan’s return, but Cole is performing really good and should keep his place for long.

Dont know what you stated earlier, but i said i did like Hooper as a 3rd striker as i myself do not like Jay Rod.

RMT usually works like this, I give you my “opinion” only. Not picking up fights here.

    Ant14 says:

    Final team. Please leave feedback.

    Mignolet

    Baines || Shaw || Coleman

    Hazard || Ozil || Toure || Lallana

    Suarez || Sturridge || Adebayour

Subs: Mannone || Chester || Gabbidon || Amalfitanno

    • 5.1
      The B says:

      Is this WC team?

If yes then do you really have faith in LFC’s clean sheet potential still? Because Migs is a bit expensive to have.
      Also dont fancy Amalfitano much.
The rest seems pretty good apart from YYT’s injury as stated by Pelle.

      inittowinit says:

Ant just keep an eye out for any Yaya injury news this week. I have considered the double on Baines and Coleman also so good work fitting those 2 in. Personally I would have a City striker but maybe you are planning ahead for Aguero already?

      • Ant14 says:

Not going with Aguero mate. Don’t want to sacrifice anyone to get him in.

        • inittowinit says:

Fair enough Ant, looks solid enough without him. I do agree with The B on Migs though. He/Liverpool are very frustrating defensively. I have had him all season but he will be out with my WC. I understand the lure of Villa at home this week though!

        • jamesimmo says:

init – hey, when are you planning on WC-ing? Close cup game too this week I see aha, looks like you’ll be okay though, good stuff!

        • inittowinit says:

Hopefully next week James but I may have to do it this week depending on how Yaya and Dzeko are looking come the weekend.

    • 5.3
      jamesimmo says:

Hey ant – personally I think having the doubtful Yaya as your only City coverage with Cardiff (H) coming up next week is dangerous. Negredo / AgĂźero / Silva needed I suspect. I mean, look how many, goals they’ve scored so far, it’s incredible.

The double ups with Coleman / Baines and SuĂĄrez / Sturridge Andre both risky and potentially very rewarding, if you go ahead with that expect mega points in some weeks and baron points in others. Hope this helps you finalise things

  6. 6

    Lallana and welbeck
    or
    Gerrard and rodriguez

    • 6.1
      The B says:

I like Lallana and Welbeck more. Both have pretty good fixtures coming up, and both are in form.

On the other hand, Gerrard should play deeper which means his points potential lies in set-pieces, and Jay Rod isnt that good to be honest. Just my opinion.

    • 6.2

I can have lallana and welbeck, but my 5th mid choice is adnan, if I drop him for noone, then I can either have, lallana and sturridge or gerrard and welbeck, which option is better?
