I’m looking forward to today’s business! Hopefully it won’t tempt me to wildcard…

I got 53 points this week… but, with the right captaincy and starting XI it could’ve been 80 points, which is really disappointing. Ah well, what can you do, on to the next one!

    How’s everyone this morning?

How many FTs and any cash in the bank? No Chelsea coverage is a sin.

1 Ft and 0.5. Was thinking an 8 point hit.

El Ahmadi, Mata and Mutch to JWP, Cesc and Another 5m player who can rotate with JWP?

        • jamesimmo says:

Fabregas sounds a good idea, but it El Ahmadi out essential?

I know he’s left Villa but it gives you limited funds and he’s only bench fodder… wait until today because it seems you might want to take Mata out!

So yeah, an 8pt should go a long way, but it’ll take some thought. Review things after the international break as a lot can happen.

The last 2 weeks of MLS fantasy football have shown me just how important WC’s are when the DGW’s come along to be able to get the most out of them.

Reminds me of the year United, Liverpool and Arsenal all had the same DGW and the top score was around 180 points – Rooney got 32, Fabregas got 24 and even Dirk Kuyt snuck into the dream team. 1 FT for that week just wouldn’t have been enough.

I’m determined to keep hold of mine. Planned on using it early but now I don’t think so. However, if I need it then I won’t hesitate to use it, as I don’t plan on suffering for weeks just for a potential DGW haul later on…

        james,

Had mine all planned for GW3…there’s just no need to use it at the moment though. Like you, I won’t religiously hold onto it for a DGW but it makes me more reluctant to use it in the near future unless my team all goes to pot.
