Fantasy Football 2014/15 Transfers

Transfer Deadline Day

It’s transfer deadline-day and one of the most exciting days of the year in the football calendar and possibly one of the most important in terms of fantasy football, as come the end of play today many PL teams will have a different outlook depending on their business on this one day. With FPL taking a mini-break due to international fixtures this is the perfect time for many to reflect on today’s happenings and decide whether any new signings are worth a punt or will impact positively on the players they already have. We kick this article off early doors and look forward to seeing it through until the deadline tonight with all of your rumours, hopes and probably lies (!) along the way. Keep us up to date on anything you hear and most importantly how you think it will affect your fantasy football team…

You are so right Wenger has missed out on Falcao BIG time, and MU not even in the CL – it beggers belief!

So I have not been hallucinating….this Falcao thing is REAL!!!???? And why would Real Madrid want CHicharito on loan when they could have gotten Falcao. Beats me. But What a signing for United! IMe thinks LVG my switch from a 3-5-2 to a 1-0-9 formation!!!

RvP needs a knew operation so it’s perfect.

      • KungFuKingCantona says:

You think he will have an operation so soon? LVG is building quite some team here! Raz btw I know you are dutch but do you support United a bit more now with LVG or what?? 😉

        • Kop Warrior says:

They looked like some team on Saturday!!

        • KungFuKingCantona says:

I don’t follow Kop! They looked like what team? Sorry for not understanding… 😉

        • Raziel says:

With Falcao in for 1 season, no European football this is the ideal moment for them to operate RvP. Read he can’t be at 100 percent if they don’t go through with it. Maybe they’ll wait a few more weeks/months but I am certain he’ll be operated this season.

        • KungFuKingCantona says:

Ok Raz thanks for da input!! 😉 Looks like perfect timing in deed..only PL and FA cup so maybe less than 40 matches to play till end of season if we get knocked out by a Championship team..lol

        • Raziel says:

          @ Kop
Takes time. Van Gaal always struggles the first 3 months at a new club, think United will be fine. Really poor they only got 2 points at the moment though, they really need something from the next game. On that note, Arsenal just 3 points ahead of them. City/Pool/Spurs just 4 points ahead of them. They were never gonna win this season but they really aren’t that far off. I would be more worried about Arsenal at the moment. That team should play much better already.

        • Kop Warrior says:

KungFu & Raz – I was only being sarcastic 😉

        • KungFuKingCantona says:

Kop I got it once I posted..so couldn’t take it back haha! And to be fair..on paper they look scary in attack but weak in midfield for now unless Vidal comes? You never know haha! We still have loads of catching up to do and seing how you guys battered Spurs yesterday I sense a hell of a tense season and especially integrating that top 4 will be a very hard task for us! I think LVG only needs to sign Vidal, Hummels, Ramos, Lahm, and Fabregas…then we are good to go!! laugh

        • Kop Warrior says:

Spurs were very poor yesterday as opposed to us being very good!

        • KungFuKingCantona says:

Can’t argue there Kop. Sterling has become such a player even though he did a Ricky Gervais shot (Rodgers’ words haha)!

        • Demsie says:

I’m not sure about that Kop.. I think we played very well yesterday, selling us a little short there.

I think we controlled pretty much the entire game, except for a few short spells in the first half and there maybe could have been a couple more goals in there for us.

I was impressed by Lovren after a shaky start and Henderson was excellent throughout. Balo seemed to work quite hard and Sterling was aces apart from that silly shot after the glorious run. Anyway, just goes to show it’s a game of opinions eh…
