Hello everyone and welcome to UEFA Champions League Fantasy Football 2019/20 Semi-Final and Final.
Right then, forget that Scottish nonsense absolutely no nonsense this time as we have little time to waste, this one will be over in the blink of an eyelid. No more dragging GW’s out over weeks and months for the Champions League, this is bish-bash-bosh at its best. Or worst.
If you’ve got this far with it you probably don’t need us to tell you what the craic is with sub and capo changes or how to order your bench. If you still do, then quite frankly… tough sh*t :rofl:
In short we have two semis and a final, starting on Tuesday and concluding on Sunday.
So let’s crack on with the very little that you do really need to know this week…
Semi-finals
Deadline
TUESDAY 18th AUGUST 8PM GMT
Teamsheets will be out about an hour prior to this. Simples.
Transfers
You get 5 of them. Simples.

The fixtures are split over two days, as follows:
Subs
We can still make changes between the two. The second deadline is 8pm on Wednesday at kick off, as usual. Simples.
Captain

This increases to 6 per team for the semis. Simples.

This one is the usual open air league that all and sundry are welcome to join; there are over 1000 people in it. We have no idea who most of them are!

Both teams were great and it could have gone any way. Congrats Bayern!
Take that PSG. Vorsprung Durch Technik or something similar :declare:
Bayern are a truly great European side.
Imagine what horror it would have been to see a City v PSG final.
Personally I wanted City to win it. Politics aside I always support any home nation team first and foremost, and oddly I include Liverpool in that philosophy.
I’ve never really minded that much. I’ve soft spots for some European sides.
However I felt very sorry for Arsenal when they lost in the final in the rain, but they always seem cursed in European finals. And I enjoyed Chelsea in their Cup Winners’ Cup run a few years ago.
And, Bayern with a new record. They have not lost a game in 2020.
Good game, especially the first half. Mbappe and Di Maria should have scored. The Sevilla-Inter Europa final was ace as well. A good bunch of UEFA games to keep us going before EPL starts again.
Manuel Neuer and Thomas Mueller were brilliant as usual but I thought Alphonso Davies, booked very early, adapted and defended superbly tonight.
Only Liverpool this season could be compared to Bayern and unfortunately we didn’t get the chance to see them square-off so the best team in Europe are the Champions League winners tonight. Always a good thing that.
