The Blues Super Sunday game against Tottenham was Thomas Tuchel at his tactical best, but the result was indicative of many long-term trends at Stamford Bridge.
Only a series of poor refereeing decisions prevented Chelsea from taking all three points, but despite their brilliance, the same old story rang true.
