Hello! Firstly, we’d like to afford you a very warm welcome to Fantasy Football 247, the website that has been designed and created to offer all FPL managers a wide range of help, advice and up-to-date news whilst maintaining a friendly, welcoming and fun community feel.
Please take your time to tour the site and see what is on offer, but allow us to briefly talk you through what we will bring you.
There will be a wide range of core articles published in order to help managers prepare for the upcoming gameweek(s). Namely – Fixtures, Captain’s Stats, Tips, Weekend Team News, Live Game Chat & Saturday and Sunday Matchday Reviews.
We also plan to publish ad hoc articles, such as Interviews with a variety of managers, Player Profiles etc. The infamous and ever-popular Banterbury Leagues will be run by Bench and there will also be twice weekly Prediction Competitions hosted by Potty.
There is of course, an interactive chat room available, which we would encourage you all to post comments on in order to seek advice and help and to reciprocate this to other managers’ and discuss thoughts on your line-up, transfer plans and other issues that affect your FPL team.
To get involved in the chat, you will need to register with Fantasy Football 247 – details of how to do this can be found on the “Register” tab at the top of the page – its very simple. We would also encourage you to set up a “gravatar”, which will then link to your name every time you comment on the site and will make you instantly recognisable at a moment’s glance – this proves especially useful when you are seeking advice and other managers can spot you easily and reply to your posts.

Thats just not correct Grenadier im afraid youve got it all wrong, we didnt just leave but we all tried to stay at ffc but they wanted to go down the community chat route and not publish any articles. It would have been wrong to publish the details of 247 out of respect to FFC whom we all have a lot to thank for.

Lets get it started, Im ready to move up to first place in my mini-league once again with the help of the articles…
Sharma, FFC had a change of direction thats all, running something like this takes a lot of time and effort and a small army of writers. So we respected FFC decision and thought it would be a good move to set up this, once the 4 Amigos got it up and running the rest of the writers came on board. Anyway, whats done is done, once the Internationals are completed we can get back to business

I don’t know how long you had been visiting FFC but the site virtually closed down, the owner of the site came to a compromise and left it open for chat, there were no plans for any more articles and it’s been treading water all season.
What you have here are the lads who did the articles, the likes of Cookie, Mutts, Kop, Innit, Eddy all contributed to a very large extent of what that site was, what you now have in effect is the old FFC site back and up and running to its full capacity again, ran by those who made it what it was.
IMO you can expect the FFC site to close completely within a month as the lads migrate slowly to this site.
Hope this clears things up for you.
