World Cup 2014 Fixtures Schedule
Following on from our World Cup group by group analysis we are delighted to present to you our fixture tracker for the group stages. Many thanks to Andy who kindly volunteered to provide us with this along with his take on how it will all pan out in the usual colour coded fashion, complete with a current form guide which will give you an idea of how each team is shaping up in preparation for the big day. Hopefully this will be of some help to you all as you plan your fantasy teams and their progression through the group stages. We shall endeavour to update this as the competition progresses to the knock out stages to keep you as well informed as possible.

Form Guide Key
W – Wins
D – Draws
L – Losses
F- Goals For
A- Goals Against
CS- Clean sheets attained in last 10 games
Rather than taking results from the last 6 games as per the norm I’ve stretched it out to include the last 10 games to try and include as much competitive football as possible as persistent freindly games are sometimes not the best stats to gather information from, I think only the Koreans have not had a competitive game in their last 10 games. The quality of opposition also varies greatly across the board.
NB All stats are up to date to the 23/05/14, all teams still have either 2 or 3 friendlies left to play until the competition kicks off.

Color Code Key
Purple – Not only do I think this team has a high chance of winning the game I also believe it may be possible for them to win by a fairly big margin.
Green – All green team games should be considered as favorites for this tie.
Yellow – All yellow team games should be considered, as it could possibly go either way.
Red – All red team games could see that team struggling in that corresponding fixture.

Hey guys!! Just thought I’d pop on for a few minutes to say hello even though there’s probably no one on right now… And if anyone is interested, USA beat Azerbaijan 2-0 tonight. Goals scored by Mix Diskerud (Michael Bradley would have gotten a fantasy assist since his shot was saved) and Aron Johannsson (assist from Brad Davis). Just a few thoughts:
It wasn’t a spectacular game from the US at all, but a win’s a win. It’s good for confidence right? A few players could be good for your fantasy team if they’re cheap enough. My picks would be Fabian Johnson (defender), Alejandro Bedoya, and Michael Bradley (both mids). Dempsey didn’t play tonight because of a minor groin injury, but apparently it was precautionary. And to put the win into perspective, Azerbaijan only let in 11 goals in WC qualifying, 3rd fewest in their group behind Russia and Portugal. I would say it’s a solid win for us.
What’s going on Josh, nice info mate. It’s like having a bunch of scouts on here, brilliant stuff! Or is everyone looking to feed false information ahead of the Perfect 32…? 😛
Hi Josh, any win is a confidence boost, but Azerbaijan aren’t a good team, not by a long shot. Looking at the U.S World Cup group, i think they’re the favorites to finish bottom of the group with the strong possibility of being slaughtered by Germany and or Portugal. As for fantasy picks, nah, group is too strong, there’ll be much better options elsewhere i think.
I watched part of that game NiN, they were not very good. I do fear for them, they have problems along all the lines. Defenders are very shaky, cdm is not very good and their forwards suck. Are best goal scorer is the manager.
Yep, shaky all round mate. You’s have Dempsey who is a very good player and a couple of very good goalkeepers, after that it’s average.
We should play Guzan and Howard together. #parkthebus
Haha, throw Rimando in there for good measure, sweeper perhaps, haha.
GP, enjoy Fulham mate, lovely place to spend the day – enjoy lunch at Sophie’s Steak House on the Fulham Road or Joe’s Brasserie on the Wandsworth Bridge Road mate

What a man. Just discussing with the wife our plans for today and included finding ‘somewhere’ near to the pub on Fulham Road (where we get our tickets) for some lunch.
Think we’ll try that steak house mate.
Cheers.
Superb GP, you cannot book so just turn up and enjoy a glass or two at the bar while you wait for a table – although if you get there early enough, hopefully you wont have to wait!

Thanks again pal. No kids in tow on this trip so talking things at our own pace is very much the order of the day!
My pleasure GP, even better without the kids, you’re spoilt for restaurants and bars round there. Just keep the mrs away from the Kings Road shops!!

Just off Fulham Broadway tube station is a place to kill an hour or two.

Damn it! So many Jungs and Youngs!
This team is hopeless. You will never be able to pick a reliable player, because you will always pick the wrong one!
Just a heads up, i think Koo is on penalties, for those who actually want Korean players.
