Pens down! It’s finally here after probably the longest and most frustrating four days of our fantasy lives. Squads of 23, hourly rule changes and a raft of players you have never heard of have been just a few of the obstacles that we have all had to negotiate this week. It’s now time to sit back, relax and enjoy the actual action right here at FF247 Live Match Chat, an interactive chat which encourages you to keep involved and share your thoughts and emotions as the matches take place.

Tonight sees the start of World Cup 2014 as hosts Brazil hope to live up to national expectation as they meet Croatia.

Good luck everyone!

The Perfect 32 and The Dodgy 32 ……latest news.
I have had an e-mail response from their HQ.
    So here goes
1=Points for all the Teams in all the Groups in both Competitions will only be visible for all to see once the Current round is over, they anticipate about an hour for the Groups to be updated.
2=For you the participating Manager to see the other Teams in your Group you must do the following… “Click-on,join/create League’s….. Now beneath this you will see ……Search for League, now you put in this box your League name that I e-mailed you(but not the CODE)…..and hey presto your own Group will pop up,OK?…..When you do this when any given round is over you WILL see everyone’s Points in your Group, currently you cannot.
    Hope this helps.
Article on my Competitions will be out soon.

So not the best of starts on the Mcd’s one, captained Fred who was arguably worse than Hulk which is saying something.

Took the captaincy off him and gave it to Silva for tonight. I think I can still get rid of Fred all together if I want to at some point later in the round?

I’m still confused why the “My Leagues” page is empty on my side.

    Potty + Shadow
    Init + Elle,
Could all those in the doubles league identify yourselves, i’ve a feeling most of you are single players, cheers.

Hope everyone had a flying start to this campaign. I capped Neymar! The question now is, should I sub Julio Cesar (6pt) with Nigerias Enyeama? He is playing Iran and may very well end up with a CS to his name. Anyone have any idea if 6 points is a good score for a GK? Thanks!

Happy with the start i made, only had Neymar playing and captained him so i got a nice 28 pts.
I got to dutch defenders tonight in the keeper and Blind and also Ramos and Ineista, my plan is to take out the keeper for the greek one and defender if the spainish win.
basically, whoever gets the most points out of the 4 stays laugh

      NIN says:

Nice one photek. Neymar could have had 3 or 4 goals had Fred and Hulk been a bit more observant and fed him when he was in good positions.

      • photek says:

Or when Side Show Bob went for an ill judged header in the 6 yard box when Neymar was wide open behind him for an easy tap in.
Dodgy ref tho, i think Sepp Blatter personally hand picked him for this game so that the ‘desired’ team won

        • NIN says:

Oh yeah, i forgot about that one, Luiz is a stocking. Nothing would surprise me when it comes to that Blatter w****r, he’ll be gone out of the game soon enough though, which is great news.

        • photek says:

I still can’t believe PSG paid 50 million for side show bob, at best i think he is an average player, at his worst he is a sulley muntari – a liability

        • NIN says:

Agreed, £50m is a shocking fee for Luiz.

        • full time says:

50m!!! WTF!!!! British pounds??? I cant get my head around that thats mental money for well for an average defender. 50m thats laughable, what is the world coming to.

        • NIN says:

FT – Yes, £50m, a crazy fee but it’s nothing to the likes of PSG, their owner is incredibly, incredibly wealthy.
