Pens down! It’s finally here after probably the longest and most frustrating four days of our fantasy lives. Squads of 23, hourly rule changes and a raft of players you have never heard of have been just a few of the obstacles that we have all had to negotiate this week.     When can I change my captains armband…..currently on Neymar…
    Can I put it on Iniesta for today’s game, but without losing Neymar ‘s double points..?

    • Hey popz. You can change it any time you like but cant change it back to Neymar if everyone else whiffs. You’ll also lose the double points so Neymar’s score would be reset to 14.

      • So we are allowed to change captain infinite times to the player who hasnt yet played?

        DAMN! I did know that, and kept it on Messi right away. sad

        • The B as I understand it you will still be ok to switch it to anybody that plays prior to Messi (there are 9 games) and still land it back on him if need be come the Argentina game as he is still classed as a player who hasn’t played at that point.

      • That would be pointless, and wouldnt be competitive. I dont like this subbing rule either, kind of ruins the whole point of predicting and choosing your best XI.

      • photek, i think thats a smart move. Surprised by how many are switching it from him. Neymars score is only likely to be trumped by someone getting a hatrick. Not that likely. Play the %’s mate.

  4. as its the first round, i guess I’ll take it easy and stick to neymar for the captain’s band. 28 shouldn’t be that bad right?

    • I’m certainly sticking with Neymar for this round.

      I’ll make a judgement on the next round based on how the defensive midfielders rack up pts with their blocked shots/balls recovered point totals.

    I can swap the captain round every match until I’m happy with his points…
    I’d be mad to take it off Neymar ..right.!
    …but say I did,, … I’d lose his double bonus…but I could keep swapping to players that haven’t played
    Untill I beat Neymars score…?

  6. Neymar appears to have been deducted 2 pts since I checked this morning… Am I correct and if so anyone know why this has happened?

    • Strange… Yet his info stats still add up to 14….. X 2 if captained …?
