Pens down! It’s finally here after probably the longest and most frustrating four days of our fantasy lives. Squads of 23, hourly rule changes and a raft of players you have never heard of have been just a few of the obstacles that we have all had to negotiate this week.   3. Well, that was an exciting opener. Captained Neymar so pleased with his returns, though Dani Alves will probably find himself on my bench (unless the next two guys are equally poor).

    Think Brazil deserved the win on the whole, though that was an outrageous dive from Fred to win the penalty. I felt bad for Croatia but they didn’t really create enough to look like threatening Brazil- they’ll be better with Mandzucic back, though Jelavic didn’t do too badly.

  4. Not being able to view our leagues is really starting to piss me off, i wanna see everyone’s teams dagnabbit!!

    • Haha same here NIN. And what’s everyone doing about Cesar? Leaving him in or switching him out?

      • I suppose it depends who the backup keeper is. I didn’t bring Cesar in myself so i’m of no use there. Cillessen at 3m was too good to turn down, he’s my first choice. The missing leagues fiasco is unbelievable, what a load of shite.

  5. why doesn’t neymar get 3 points for playing minutes?
    it shows 3 points for playing bonus but no 3 points for playing minutes like for other players.

    not being able to see the leagues sucks. not being able to see other teams sucks even more.

    • It does show his playing minutes: 3 for playing minutes, 10 for goals scored, 1 for attempts rate over 80%, 1 for balls recovered, and -1 for yellow card. So that equals 14.

      • But how does he not get any points for balls delivered into the area? He must have put in at least 7 or 8 crosses and half of those were from corners alone.

        • Josh – I was thinking the same about Oscar, he fired plenty of crosses/passes in there but got diddly squat for it.

        • Whoops, he got 1 point.

        • Rakitic got a point for firing 2 balls into the box so strange

        • Maybe the crosses into the box only count if they’re received/ touched by a player on the same team.
          Would explain the lower point allocation as a lot of the crosses were cleared by defenders.
          Just a guess though. Could be wrong.

      • it’s showing playing bonus against his name for,me. while playing minutes for luiz. -_-
        and only 5 against goals scored. total still 14.

    not a bad start I guess. How many points did Alves get?? I replaced him with Silva in the last second, hope it wasn’t a bad decision.
